There is a rumor saying that FXO sponsors two teams.
OT: give it to the crew if they're volunteers, split between the players if they're paid.

Seeing how nothing is forcing the drop-outs to actually stay around and cast without compensation, I say spread it out.

3.5k to #1 1k to #2 500 to #3

Twitch you are the best! Supporting TL AND HSC IV!
All of them deserve it.
I mean, theres players who are losing all 3 games, getting knocked out of the first tourney of the year (all of them prolly dreamt about a "better" 2012"), then they just swallow the pain and cast games for ALL of us. So spread it even plz.

I think giving it to all the players is a great idea considering they're all giving us a performance AND casting the games too.
I think it should be spread to all competitors, they made the tournament possible! =)
Split all the players into 2 or 4 teams, single elimination GSTL 1v1 winner stay on format, winning team splits the 5k.
More beer! Although spreading it around to the players seems fairer, some of them might not drink beer
spread it across all the players, just to show respect and support to all who have competed.

soooo cool of twitchtv.
make HSC5 the biggest fucking awesomeness since the invention of awesome.

I personally like the 4v4 idea ... and just spread the prize out a bit for that 4v4. Make it fun for us and the players.
Put it to getting the vods up the next day...
How about using it as a prize for the Poker tournament instead
I would like to see the top eight padded out a bit. But also this is so cool! Good on Wheat and Twitch!!
high class strippers and lots of beer

5 show matches voted by fans. 800 for the winner, 200 for the loser.
I'd like for all players to get a portion of it - professional gaming is tough on the money side, and it can be hard to get by sometimes. They all came together to put the tournament on for us, so it seems right that they all receive something in return, even if it's only a small amount.

I like sAsImre's idea. Give maybe 2k to the crew if they were volunteers. Because HSC4 has been the most on-time tournament I've ever watched. Always starting on time and minimal technical/stream issues.
Then use the other 3k for 4v4s :D 8 teams of 4 (could just use the ro32 groups). Winner 2k, second place 1k. It's not a lot of money after you split it, but it's just for funzies anyway.
I don't think they need to add it to the prize pool. With 15k, there's already more than enough incentive for the players to do their best. So might as well use the donation to thank the crew and add another dimension to HSC, which focuses on player interactions, with 4v4s.
