So for those who don't know, DJWheat just hopped on to the HomeStory Cup stream and officially stated that TwitchTV are giving an extra $5000 to the tournament. After all of the banter afterwards, Take decided that the he'd ask the community to see how it should be spent. So, how do you guys think it should be spent?

I'd like to add: Twitch, you guys are freaking awesome! Also, if anyone has specifics on how the money should be spread out, please post it in this thread so Take can have a look and pick how he want's it done.

EDIT 2: A fair few people think that this should be spent on HomeStory Cup 5! can't add it in the poll (I think?) so if you want that option, please show your support by posting it in here!
EDIT 3: While a second tournament would be awesome guys, don't forget that there will be limited time, so anything which will take a while to do isn't really feasible. Please take that into consideration. Tournaments may be ok, but not ones that are too long

Hope it actually goes to the players! A lot of them traveled from far away to attend, so it'd only right.

Everyone made this tournament amazing. Imagine guys like MoMan, Naama, HayprO, Incontrol, HasuObs etc getting some cash for their trouble!

All the players should get some of the money, because players like MoMan that won't finish high really contributed to making this tourney awesome with their casting.

I say either spread it across everyone or the idea that was suggested in the LR thread of making 2v2 showmatches with people and have the money as prizes

This. Normally I would suggest to give it only to high finishing players but on this tournament all the players are definatly adding to the experience.

spread it out to lower placements. the prizemoney is top heavy enough.

Finally a sane poll that offers to share equally the money.
But I find it wierd that twitch gives this money that way. Nobody remembers who gave the first 15000$ of the prize pool but now Twitch gets all the fame for the 5000$ :/ Good initiative anyways but a bit wierd.

btw here is my suggestion:
I suggest to put 4000€ in the big prize pool... so that it will look like this:
(suggested prizepool)
1st $ 7500 + 1500 = 9000
2nd $ 3500 + 1000 = 4500
3rd $ 2000 + 500 = 2500
4th $ 1000 + 400 = 1400
5th $ 300 + 200 = 500
6th $ 300 + 200 = 500
7th $ 200 + 100 = 300
8th $ 200 + 100 = 300
aaaaannnd i want the remaining 1000 bucks for Showmatches....like 5 showmatches, chosen by the community who will play and 200 for each winner....
wouldn't that be nice?

Spread to players. It is the closest they can all get to an actual salary for being good, on a team or not (I'm aware some players get salary).
Also, wow TwitchTV, you are akin to corporate angels.

Give some to the production team. They are really doing great and have to work holiday.

So that's how it is right now. How would you guys add to it? Here's mine:

then $1000 for 5 show-matches, and the last $800 for drinks for the guys!
