I don't know about the 4v4 idea. I haven't watched too many 4v4s, but the ones I did were short games because the momentum seemed to pile up much faster than in 1v1 for the winning side, and all in all too chaotic to make for good spectating. I like the idea that it becomes chaotic in the sense that it will produce many funny moments and a relaxed atmosphere - but Homestory Cup already produces that on top of great, entertaining 1v1s.

So I vote for a mix of showmatches which will all be 1v1, and distributing it among all the players.

I would love to see a series of show matches and not just 1v1. Throw in some 2v2/3v3/4v4 for a little bit of prize money for fun

The line dividing casters from players seems to almost disappear once all these crazy people step into Take's apartment though, so who gets and who doesn't then? :p

Because then it would be better to get knocked out in the 1st round instead of advancing because you get to compete against much less scary players for only 1/3 of the regular prize pool.

If you are going to have an extra side tournament or show matches it should be something unique instead of just regular sc2 games that we already have plenty of this weekend with these players. I vote for sc2broodwar but team games would be cool also. (or if you want to get really crazy the heart of the swarm custom map would be cool. There should be a past present future tournament sometime that has a bo3 with sc2bw, sc2, hots custom one map each)

Why not give 100$ to all the players/casters (so around 3,5k$) for the amazing job they do. Even players who don't do well as Moman, Thorzain, Incontrol... provide a good and funny casting job.

For the rest of the prize, i love the idea of the fun mini-tourney 4v4 (or any of fun tourney format) with top 3 rewarded as 1000$, 300$, 200$ something like that. Showmatchs are good too. We can see again losers playing a bit

Good job to all the team, and thx twitch.tv (Dj Wheat) for this unexpected support

I want to say give it all to MC and Marineking as incentive to commentate in the future, but I think it should be spread evenly with everyone. And the idea to set aside $1k for showmatches is an excellent one too.
