My Master Level practice partner that introduced me to IMMvp's unupgraded marine seige tank push, where you open with 2 to 4 reactor hellions and transition into marine 3 tank push. Day [9] also went into great detail in Daily 365 -becoming MVP.
Last night I saw Polt defeat Nestea. It went into mid late game but Polt had a great start using a Combat Sheild timing push.
Today, I got owned going marine medvac against bane/hydra. NO MORE!!!!
I've decided my standard opener against zerg will be a hybrid build of Polt's CS and MVP's tank push. The idea is with reactor hellions I can establish map presence and expo safely. The hellions will be used to contain creep and maybe light harrass.
With the combat shields, the tank push is more beefy. Plus, you're marine upgrades are on pace to deal with mutas around the 10 minute mark.
I freestyled it in a game and won, but my macro was terrible.
I'm sure this build already exists, but I'm going to be spending the next 5 hours refining it until it is mine.

I'm going to be streaming it. I know it's the last thing anyone wants to do is watch a plat practice build orders. But if you want to stop by and give some feedback on ways to tighten up the build it would be much appreciated.
