As I was looking at game releases I noticed one for Dynasty Warriors Next, back when I was younger I was a huge dynasty warriors fan and I was also an active member on Koei.com's forums as well. So I decided to go back there to find the forums essentially dead which to be honest isn't surprising. It took them like a year to revamp their forums so all activity died cause everyone forgot about it. This was probably around 06-07 when they did the revamp.
But of course with one memory comes many other ones. I remembered all the random message boards I was a member of whether is was discussion or those roleplaying sims(yea idk why I did those now that i look back on it). Of course I couldn't remember them by name so luckily, I'm terrible at deleting emails and started looking through my oldest ones and progressing to my newest. Although I did delete most of my stuff, I was lucky enough to see all those "confirm registration" mails from various user created messaging boards(mostly proboard, do people even use that anymore?), The oldest email I have saved for whatever apparent reason is 4/20/05(lol). Its weird when you look back at stuff from 05 and 06 because its been 6 years since then but it seems like yesterday. My memories of those times are as vivid as anything from the past week. Doesn't seem nearly that long ago when I made a photobucket account, had a myspace and was waiting for the xbox 360 to come out.
It's a shame I didn't save emails past that point though. It'd be interesting to look even farther back to see what else I was obsessed with back then or just old user names and stuff like that. Unfortunately I apparently deleted my TL confirmation email so thats lost forever. Oh and apparently I registered for an xbox live diamond card back in 06 and they never sent that to me. Those bastards.
Anyways yea, just had one of those moments where I wanted to talk about something really badly or it's just me finding more ways to procrastinate.
edit: just saw old youtube videos I favorited, boy was I obssesed with Naruto amv's back then.
