Hopefully, the new one I'm getting tomorrow solves the problem. I'd really like my computer to keep working when Skyrim comes out.
Ah well, better watch some shoutcasts to stave off the SC2 withdrawl.

So I had it RMAed. The board they sent back didn't fix the problem, so I assumed they just didn't repair it and sent me the same board back in a "new" box. So I had it RMAed again. But this time, I made a small scratch symbol in a heatsink pipe near a corner where the pipe turned 90 degrees that only I would be able to find. This did not damage the board in any way, it was like a scuff on your car's hubcaps. So they said sorry, we were wrong, here's a new board, hope it fixes the problem. Well it came back and I was so excited, I opened the box and immediately checked for my scratch. It was there. Moral of the story: don't buy ASUS boards.

On the contrary, ASUS has been probably the best in terms of customer support, for me anyways. It's possible they didn't find a problem with the board or something. It might have been something with your hardware compatibility that caused your issue. I've had ASUS mobos for years and any time I've had an issue with them, they've always gotten me straightened out. When the P6T Deluxe first came out, I bought one and it had some issues after a while, I sent it back and they sent me back a P6T V2 instead for no charge. Either way, no matter what company you're using, Dell, ASUS, Apple, Emachines (lol) - computer issues fucking blow.

I hope it works after I install the new part too, actually I think I'll post an edit later after I try it.
