Just finished the last day of Blizzcon! And spent the last several hours going through 1000+ photos to arrive at the final 86 -__-
I was lucky enough to have been given a press pass by WellPlayed, which meant that during the day, I wouldn't die of hydration and could run up to the press room for soda and coffee.
But even luckier than that, I was able to help out the GSL with some photography. Indeed, if you watched the end credits of the GSL Finals on Friday, you might have seen this:
That's me in the third line :DDD
I emailed John (thanks to a tip from Doa!) several weeks prior to Blizzcon, and GSL graciously let me contribute what I could do making the finals as memorable as possible.
In any case, here are photos from Blizzcon at large and GSL Finals in particular.
(The full album is available here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nodnod/sets/72157627957222786/with/6271609635/. There are quite a number of photos that aren't embedded in the post because it was getting really long.)

Absolutely stunning! Thank you for this
I think I like the SelecT picture the best. It really shows the emotional power this game has on us all.

He had some kids with them (dunno if they were his), so I assume he was waiting for them to finish with DOTA. Or he's scoping out the competition with DOTA2 coming out soon :p

Slasher made a bet that if a foreigner won a major LAN tournament with Koreans involved he would shave his head. Which did happen when Idra won the IEM in Guangzhou.
Nice pics really good quality

He made a bet that if a foreigner would win a tournament with koreans playing in it he would shave his hair. Idra won IEM in china, Stephano IPL and Huk won MLG Orlando, so off with his hair :p

They were practically impossible to find -- and when found, were mobbed by fans and quickly ushered away.

From the BW section thread it seemed like they were ignored for hte most part except for like maybe 5 minutes per hour. But then again they do seem to think all the fans should get on their knees and lower their heads to the ground when they showed their presence.. Maybe it was misrepresented lol.

Might be a chicken or egg issue. Unless you go out specifically looking for them (which is difficult given the amount of people at Blizzcon), you basically only find them when a bunch of other people also find them :p Hence I think they were crowded, and others who run into them accidentally might not.
