After an awesome weekend of SC2 watching @ MLG and IEM, I went online to the ladder, expecting the worst. It's how it almost always happens, I think - people watch SC2, get excited, go online to try to do what they saw. What I was not expecting was to run into a few people who are either testing new builds or just playing for shits and giggles.
I get into a ZvT on Shakuras and start with a 15h/14p/14g. Standard, right? No problem. There's no harass so I float in an ovie and see that he's taken both gasses but it dies before I scout anything else. I put an evo + lair to get some spores while I put up a spire. As my lair finishes, I see three banshees coming in so I morph a seer and get a few spores down. I get some mutas to harass, but I see a few Thors and marines in his base.
No problem, right? Probably heavy mech with marines. I've been using a heavy ling/bling/ultra composition vs. Terran mech lately with some success so I take a third, drone up, get my ultralisk cavern up while upgrading to 3/3. In the meantime, I block his third and keep up contained on two base.
So, I roll up with 6 ultralisks, ling/bling with my mutas and I run into a ton of battlecruisers and marines, with 3 Thors. I clean up his ground forces and his natural but the battlecruisers clean up the rest of my forces before I could finish his base off. In the meantime, I start corrupter production. Sadly, some poor micro leads me to losing those and only taking out half those BCs. So, even though at this point, I'm on six base, I have no army, not enough gas and fighting a lot of BCs. 
I gg and can't even be mad at my opponent. I had bad scouting, bad micro, and just the shock of seeing mass battlecruisers... well. I've got no one to blame but me, right?
So, yeah. I just -- I find that I can't even get worked up about that because I see battlecruisers so rarely.

Yeah next time just scout more dude. If you didn't know he was getting BC's, you were in the dark for WAY too long.

I run into this a lot in my TvZ's, where a zerg will get super fast hive (like 12 mins) and run me over with ultra's at 15 min.
Has made me be a lot more aggressive lately, lol

Sometimes i go proxy battlecruiser rush and it works hilariously well

Well, I was going to also write up the carrier matchup but 1) I got caught up at work and 2) who would believe such a story??
Yeah, I know my flaws in the match. I was just putting on a good 2-base contain and I figured "Who would go for air-terran on 2-base? No one. There's just not enough gas for that." But clearly, I was wrong. Next time, more sacced ovies!

This reminds me of the time I was in a ZvZ 30 drones ahead on my opponent after a fail speedling all-in. I don't killl him and gets ultras and broodlords off 3 bases. When there was a 5 minute window to completely roll over him. I hate myself =_=
