Are most people going to this one, or the one at kickoff's? I went to kickoff's last time and I'm not really sure where to go, now.

The last one E-Sports Canada had was at Molly Blooms in Waterloo and we had about 35 people show up. We gave away some prizes and everyone had a great time. We hope to see you there!

cant decided to barcraft or teamspeak/skype with a bunch of TL mods =_=... need to ask them if they barcrafting or not :-/
but thats really inconvenience for me... my house is at Glasgow+Fischer Hallman and there is no bus going that way without curving up to Columbia.... not counting sunday night bus schedule is a bitch.

Are you kidding me? That is like literally the easiest spot to bus too. It's uptown waterloo..grab an iXpress, or any 7, and it goes right past. You just probably have to switch buses.. which is no problem since you get a transfer :s
Yeah I just checked, both the 201 and the 4 go directly to a place where you can catch a bus to uptown with like 30 secs of walking. Get off at erb on the 201 to catch the 5, or get off on king from the 4 to catch the 7s/ixpress. And on sundays to get back home the 201's last stop in your area is around 12:15..

Well for the record...
I sent the Waterloo CSL coordinator an email on September 9th saying we were doing something for MLG on Oct 16 and asked if they would like to take part or help out ( I have emails as proof).
"Hi Steve,
Thanks for the prompt reply, we are organizing a spectating event on October 16 in Waterloo and would like it if you could come out and see what we are up too. Perhaps a few of the players on your team would be interested in coming out to socialize with the community and have a good time. We are also looking to organize some tournaments in the future as well. I can provide you with more details if you are interested and perhaps we can work together on a few things? I Look forward to your response.
Regards,
Ken"
I received no response after that. Now they have gone and made a post a day after us for a different event, oh and its down the street... This will not help ESports events grow in this area. Hopefully we can come to an arrangement that will combine the events at McMullan's in light of the clear attempts to work together (way in advance) on our part.

I just want to clear up a bit of misinformation.
1. Waterloo CSL did not start the event at Kickoff. Please don't blame them -- they're nice guys.
2. Myself and another person had our first event for MLG Anaheim. We skipped MLG Raleigh because Kickoff was closed for staff vacations. Now we're continuing for MLG Orlando.
3. Our MLG Orlando event has been planned since early September as well, and was made public September 26th.
4. Kickoff can hold 39 people. Their TVs are new flat screens. Chairs weren't that bad. Beer selection is the most diverse in town.
From my point of view it is too late to cancel either event and merge into one. I have made promises to my venue as I'm sure you have as well.
GohgamX, I messaged you on August 25th (through Team Liquid) about BarCrafts in the Waterloo region. I also promoted your MLG Raleigh event through the Facebook page I've set up and through Reddit. Not once have I been contact by yourself or Chromate -- until today.
To anyone thinking about attending a viewing event: Go to one please! I don't care which, just support eSports and we'll work this out for the future. Cheers.

Thank you sevenDeer for clarifying all the information for others to see! Please don't blame CSL for anything regarding this BarCraft as Waterloo CSL is not directly involved.
That being said, [most of] the Waterloo CSL Team will be going off to Kickoff's. No favouritism -- It's just closer to most of us.
It really doesn't matter which event you go to for MLG Orlando! If anything, I'm sure sevenDeer and chromate can talk about organizing future, much larger events. If so, I'm sure some of the folks at Waterloo CSL will be very happy to support and assist in any events! Just support e-sports and get the word out.
I'm just really happy that sevenDeer and chromate are taking a big role in e-sports by organizing BarCraft events! +1
EDIT: Spelling.

I'm in Kitchener, not really that far(Same city tbh) If I get back in town on time, Ill definitely show up. Cheers!

Thanks for clearing up any confusion. We want to work together and make the best possible E-Sports events. McMullan's has a capacity of 225 so if there's any overflow please do not hesitate to come by and watch the games here. Next time well have everyone together in one place ^_^

I'll probably go to kickoffs just because it's a more convenient location, but hope you guys get a good turnout there!
