On the wasdkeyboards site you can select the option to add 'Custom Art'. Then you submit an image you want on your key, and voila
Here's the link: Link

Yessir!, you can order a set through the round 4 group buy over at GeekHack.org. It's another community site but based on keyboards instead of starcraft 2

does anyone know if the wasdkeyboards custom keycap designer fits keyboards other than the one the site provides? I have a leopold tenkeyless fr200rt.
I sent them an email, but they haven't replied in a few days. Hoping some TL brethren could help out!

The WASD keycaps fit a Filco perfectly. On a Leopold, the space bar will not fit, unfortunately.

Well that's kinda lame. Do you know if its just the space bar that won't fit? Or does it misalign with the rest of the keyboard?

All the keys will fit perfectly except for the space bar. On a Leopold, the switch is off-center, while on a Filco the switch is in the center. This means you just can't put the space bar on there. The shape itself is fine.

You could order a keyboard with custom keycaps directly from WASD keyboards. That is definitely the cheapest option and I've heard good things about their keyboards.

Theres nothing wrong with the WASD keyboard. But depending on shipping costs it might be cheaper to get one of the mechanicals from PCCG or Auspcmarket (not definite that they sell to NZ, but probably).
So if it does work out cheaper your choice is between the more expensive Filco from Auspcmarket, with a variety of case colours to choose from. Or a cheaper leopold from PCCG, but the space bar will not be compatible with wasd.
This also depends on which switch type you want.

A thing to keep in mind about the WASD keyboard keys are that the space bar will not fit on the SteelSeries g6v2

Look at my keyboard in the OP, the white spacebar they sent me didn't fit but I don't mind the look of the black one anyways.

All I did on my keyboard is putting a Thai characters sticker on it lol

In terms of rubber dome keyboards it is very good. But in comparison to mech keyboards it still falls very short. If you get a mech keyboard I wouldnt recommend one from steelseries.

i personaly dont think it makes a difference if u use mech or normal keyboard. the reason why mechanical is so highly praised is because people spend hundreds of dollars on it so they want to feel like its worth the cost. at the end of the day it is just a keyboard.

A lot of people feel the same way about the dt-35 -- it's just another keyboard, and a silly fad that's not worth the money unless you live where they are cheap and plentiful (and even then it is still a silly fad).
You are totally wrong about mechanical keyboards. The reason they are highly praised is that they feel much, much better than rubber domes. I would agree that a lot of the chest-thumping about brands and switch types is about cost and prestige, and that for Starcraft there's not a huge benefit to mechanicals. But for people who type all day the difference in feel is huge, and is worth paying a premium for.

That's kind of silly thing to say. It's like saying a ball mouse is as good as an optical because, hey, it's just a mouse right? They may not always be better relative to the increase in cost but mechanical boards are unquestional better than a normal keyboard for me. That's not to say that a good rubber board can't be better than a bad mechanical one.
