Funtime is over, start behaving in here. You all know the rules and this isn't the place for some kind of comments or discussion. Keep it to the games and keep balance, the casters and meta discussions out of here.
Pretty please, with minerals on top. |

If there is any balance whine about this series.... I don't even.
Clearly the better player (much better) won. Boring games though.

Oh my..... I've never watched a game where i couldn't spot anything someone could have done better. And that game was clearly not a place you can't spot problems.... Losing all his blink stalkers for free, ling run by x2, 2x artosis pylons, poor engagements in general... plenty of problems in the second game, letting the lings runby twice was pretty fail. But what about game 3? What problems did you see other than the final blink in? (he was already behind 50 supply at that point btw). Should he have applied pressure? with zealot sentry army against spling infestor?. Maybe he needed a fast third? but wait, its not terminus where you can get a free third. So what else? Scouting your opponent's main is a nice start. He scouted everything with hallucinated phoenixes and observers except the muta switch which wasn't even close to what lost him the game. Try again. Dude shut up with your fanboyism. MC started out with a huge BO advantage then proceeded to tech colossus even after seeing the infestation pit. His plan was (obviously, since it's Dual Sight) to do a nice colossus 2-base push, but 1. he didn't pressure at all and just let Monster drone hard after getting a really hatch and 2. he continued to make colossi after seeing the infestation pit. There's a timing for colossi on 2base that you can hit (pre-neural), but the muta switch forced him to stay in his base because of his bad tech choice and his 2base just died to Monster's 3base. If he had scouted the spire or gone for HT or MADE UNITS then he wouldn't have lost--as badly, at least. Shut up with not understanding the game at all? How do you pressure a zerg going early infestor? Any gateway push gets shut down by infestor/ling and he was sitting back two base to two base defending against an aggressive opener which he handled perfectly. He deliberately teched to colossi instead of high templar exactly when he saw the infestation pit despite having the twilight council first. 2 base colossi is the counter to 2 base infestor/ling, if you think otherwise there's no point arguing with you. If you get high templar there is even less chance of you EVER pushing out against muta ling infestor because you have to be defensive. There is no way for him to ever secure a third on that map. And the spire didalmost no damage, and he cut probes at two base saturation to make units. Try again, bud. Then shut up and stop arguing. We know. You're always right and everyone else is wrong no matter what. Obviously since MC is out of the GSL he played wrong.
Lmao, or maybe he's just wrong?

lol moletrap. He was close with that countdown.

Be careful what you ask for, cuz once he lose like MC, it will be even more sad for protoss players : D

I'm guessing you mean SC2, because + Show Spoiler +A Protoss just won the last OSL, Jangbi.

I've had in my head the scene of Mufasa explaining the circle of life to Simba with these games tonight.

I was totally serious:D, he's a good player genius is scary again too now Yeah, he is indeed. Actually the only protoss problem is the terran so i dont know why all this guys says protoss up after MC lost to a zerg. Hopefully the new patch will change the state of PvT. Pretty sure most protoss users hate zerg way way way more than terran. Dont get me wrong, they hate terran plenty, they just hate zerg even more. Which I find funny because my brother who plays Zerg hates Protoss so much more than any one else. While many Zergs hate Terran way more than they hate Protoss. It all depends on who you ask. I think Jinro is talking about good protoss players ^^ So was I? Not sure what this comment means. and by good I meant pro players like naniwa, socke, HuK, MC etc..
Oh I see, you're agreeing with me! For a second there I thought you were disagreeing with me so I got confused.
Yea, I'm sure a guy like Jinro who gets to at least talk to some of the best Protoss around knows what race they hate facing more.

this is starting to look exactly like the AOL tournament, Terran feeds on Zerg and Protoss, Zerg then gets the Protoss scraps ;p

The players who played better won tonight. Simply as that.

Well deserved win by Monster. I have to agree with this. He let lings run by several times in game two whilst putting on zero pressure, he didn't scout the spire that was IN MONSTER'S MAIN and then chose to push out vs muta/ling/infestor without chargelots or HT or archons. what good are chargelots vs speedlings? and colossus AND HTs+archons off 2 base? really? zealots are good vs lings, esp if you have upgrade advantage (which he should have considering he opened nexus first -> forge). if your zealots can keep up with your blink stalkers then you can freely chase down mutas -- if you noticed in that last battle, mc's zealots arrived at the battle about 5-6 seconds too late. there's also a reason protosses have stopped going for colossus versus fast infestor... what was it called again? neural? In case you missed game one, the colossus absolutely destroyed neural because MC knows how to focus fire. Charge wouldn't have won that engagement that cost him game3, don't even go there. A handful of zealots arriving 5 seconds earlier simply means they get fungaled with the stalkers and die. 200/200 for charge when he lost 1 colossus for nothing is a very steep investment on 2 base. In case you haven't watched any good zergs, MC killed Monster's army game 1 because Monster sucks. Colossi can't focus fire infestors when they're out of range and fungaled (or if they're in range, neuraled).
And I'm not sure you understood my point... I'm saying he shouldn't have been going colossus anyway so that money is freed up for charge, HT, more than just a handful of zealots.

Well I actually haven't been Zerg for more than a few months.
But even so, I want to see all the "old" players from the Open seasons who are just riding on their laurels and somehow sticking around drop out, regardless of race.
They're taking up valuable spots and preventing the game from moving onward.

Omg I thought I was going to sleep tonight, but they just replaced JYP with HerO match.

Fucking seriously protoss already 0-6 in series counting GSL and AOL. There is no fucking hope. MC is the only protoss with a GSL winrate above 50 percent and he can't even beat a nobody code A zerg.
