Also, has anyone noticed huge internet lag during heavy traffic hours? I was getting a 1s delay at around 11:00 am, making it very hard to micro banelings. Hopefully it isn't every day, and just an isolated incident. | ||

We actually used the SC2 LAN hack SCfriend. We hooked our laptops together via ethernat cable, and after around 20 minutes of fooling around and almost giving up, we finally got it to work (to our vast relief). There was no lag at all. I am a top 8 diamond zerg, and he beat me 2-1 with terran. He played a cool tank marine thor ghost composition while I went for roach ling infestor into broodlord. He used multi pronged drops, which is more than I can say for most terrans on ladder. It was my first time playing SC with someone next to me, and it was really fun. If we have a GSL viewing party or something maybe we can set up the lan again. (tournament...? :D) Oh, and I also am in an email conversation with uvic's internet technician. He seems to know what he is doing, and is currently investigating the slow internet speed.
