Even if you count ladder results as meaningfull, which is already not quite right, as proved by some quite mediocre grandmaster cheesers/cheaters in NA, there is basically no competition in SEA to say he is top 3 in the world. You could say he is better than the others zergs in SEA, but I don't think anyone will disagree with that.

I think it would be silly to argue that playing with others under one roof creates more desire to be better rather than just playing by yourself in your house is anything but true. The way you post you just sound like an EG hater throwing around non-constructive critiques and petty insults so you can express your hate for EG and which I find what makes reddit and TL much worse than they ought to be. Nothing I said demonstrates hating at all and I find your last statement offensive, just because I disagree doesn't mean I am a random hater or should be posting on some other forum. Throwing that our there is completely irrelevant. People act like a house changes everything. IdrA and crew have been living together already. Guess what, they still don't practice that much. I want the foreigner scene to succeed as much as anyone, but investing in players that don't bother practicing when they already live together (and why do you need to live together to practice in the first place) is shaky. The reason why the FXO/GSL house works is because they had their coaches driving an extremely ambitious training schedule but as well the players were motivated enough to be a part of it. You can't just get 5 random guys put them in a house and say that it is going to improve their starcraft significantly. You need to recognise that what you're doing now is not working and change it entirely. The house might help, but it is not a magic fix. I hope it works out for them, and I suspect that Demuslim will especially benefit as he seems to be the most motivated and talented of the EG bunch.

I guess Puma is the only other EG player that has noteworthy accomplishments. Anyways, my point being that EG is arguably the best NA team right now. It would be fantastic if they could improve and be more of a global powerhouse. However the reason they are one of the best teams is because of Idra, who has seen far more success than any other EG member. It would be nice to see Machine, Incontrol and lZgAMer get deep into major tournaments , however they have not anything all that impressive. Hopefully with this new house and better training, EG members other than Idra can get major tournament results.

Im also a little skeptical about how much of a difference this house will make for most of these players. How much does Anna know about being a house manager of a sc2 pro team? I would think they will need someone who not only has a thorough and complete understanding of the game (and current metagame), but someone who commands enough respect that they can bust balls if the players dont work/train hard enough. Im skeptical of Anna in this role, or maybe im getting it confused with a coach (do they have one?) Sigh, I hope Im wrong, but i just feel this is a great idea, but not so great execution, and makes me wonder how badly scoots wants EG to be a premier team, anyways... ill continue to support EG and their sponsors... IdrA fighting/EG Fighting!

Surprised how many people fell for it after her mentioned Machine and Catz in top 3 zerg (Moonglade is actually much better than people give him credit for...but still could not be called a top 3 foreigner until he shows more games). Yeh lol, He's been trolling for months. I think his best terran is LzGamer (who isn't terran anymore) and his best protoss is CrunCher. Anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyy, looks awesome for EG. Hopefully they make full use of it to practice seriously! Would love to see PuMa there at some point as well!

I think nothing but good can come out of exercising every day. But you are just probably looking for any openning to take a jab at EG. I'm aware that physical training can help in general. Not gonna lie though, I'm not a fan of EG. Truthfully, I feel like we've seen bigger progress in their weight training than SC2 training since the beginning of 2011. In essence, however, my jabs are just sharp criticism in what I see and not just blind trolling/hating. I used to tout QXC and Genius were players that "never failed to fall short of expectations." Now, I have a great respect for QXC since he stepped up his game while in Korea. Same thing with FXO in general. EG isn't beyond redemption, same with pretty much any organization, but until I see a change in attitude AND results, I will continue to be extremely critical of them and take my shots as I see them.

Hope to see other teams following suit - it's the first step towards being able to compete on that higher level.
