Team houses are one step towards hitting that practice regime that is most desperately requried (read: MLG). I just hope EG get an onsite coach/team leader that can ensure a strict enough practice schedule. Living together is one thing, but the main difference maker will be the disciple in practice. Good luck EG! This. Having a training house seems pretty meaningless without a coach, it is just going to become a frat house the players stream and coach for money from.

I want the foreigner scene to succeed as much as anyone, but investing in players that don't bother practicing when they already live together (and why do you need to live together to practice in the first place) is shaky. Your concern is valid (and I share some of it), but in a recent interview, IdrA said that although taking a small break from hardcore practicing helped him temporarily, he realized he will need to resume his hardcore practice schedule to remain competitive. He also said that the EG house will have a legitimate practice schedule. We'll have to wait and see to see if EG is serious about what they say or if they will still be lax in their practice.

And didn't EG had some sort of team house before? at least I can remember watching Idra in SotG with... I think Machine (or Lz) lurking behind him.

In the interview with all of the EG members, IdrA said that Puma would be visiting the house around 2 weeks prior to MLG events to help the team practice and get rid of jet lag.
