Unfortunately, apparently if you have more than 1000 posts, you cannot (easily?) find your first post on TL. Otherwise, look at your profile through one of your messages and look at the post history of your account. It's also possible that really old threads have been deleted? Otherwise this would be the oldest thread on TL:
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=1
And it seems like there's already an established community by this point.
Incidentally, another cute topic I found was this one:
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=12
If you had been alive in the 2002's you too could have changed the very domain name of this site. Scary thoughts.
I've only been around TL for SC2, so it's been about 7 months now, and it's crazy to think that this site has been around for 9 years. Even crazier to see who has been here since the beginning and how most of the early posters are now mods/staff/admin or otherwise still involved in the TL community. Makes me appreciate the history that's here and how unique a community this is.
Anyways, my first post was me as a lowly silver zerg not sure how to handle biomech. Incidentally, I am now platinum and my weakest matchup is still against biomech. It seems that things change, but not always.

I remember making my account and being pissed off that I had to wait three days to post a topic, because that's all I wanted to do. Or maybe it was a week? I forget.
I'm glad to see I lurked TL long enough to make a decent first post that I can be proud of for its clarity, grammatical error-free-ness, and not being a balance QQ. I had no replays. but luckily that was not a bannable offense back then. It's kinda cute to see how much I have improved since I started playing.
So anyways, for those of you that can find it, what was your first post and how do you feel about it? If anyone knows how to determine your first post even if your post history has been cut short, please share with the whole class.

While it's clearly impractical, and the people with the power would much rather be battling viruses and bugs (in the machine) instead of offering the information to everyone, it'd still be nice if anyone could request a few details about their account statistics:
First Post Chart of posting habits (yearly trends, time-of-day trends, sub-forum trends etc) What number registered user you are
So much cool stuff I'd love to know myself, just out of interest.

There was a thread to see what user number you had, I don't remember how you did it involved adding a buddy then removing them then looking at the address bar... Something like that

How come you cant view your total posting history anymore?
I can only find posts from the last month or so, you used to be able to view every single post you posted.
TL = fail.

Just lucky timing I guess.
It was a awhile ago, back when it was Zerker, Attero, Clonze, Huk (or a bit after he left), TorcH, etc. I managed the players on the team, helped with the community and did a lot of in-between jobs~
Attero asked me to help out with his new team: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Dynamic_Gaming (I did the wiki page too ;D!). So I'm the manager for them and I founded our university's official StarCraft club (supported by our Student union financially) and will be coordinating the team in the CSL and managing the whole club.
I'm also a part-time caster for small events and for fun (I'm an amateur, but it's a good excuse to be right there in the games of some really good players and getting yourself involved! I made a lot new friends!)
Thank you for asking :3 It's rare people take an interest~
