So first I would like to touch base of Baller Brawls Weeklies. Its becoming more and more successful, so if you are a Platinum or Diamond league player, go to z33k.com and sign up to the weekly tournament where first place gets 20$ and second gets 5$.
Second I wanna talk about twitch.tv. Those of you who are fellow streamers/casters using justin.tv/twitch.tv will have recieved this email, but it said that for us to become partener, we need either, 300k views, 1k followers, and a consistent viewer base of 500 players, or 800k views, or 4k followers, or 1k of consistent viewers. I found these numbers rather steep. I mean I know my stream is a long ways away from being able to pay for itself, even though I love giving stuff away, so I'm trying to make every opportunity to give a game away on stream, but my buddy, son of DadCraft, who has even had Huk and Rainbow on his stream, still isn't close to those numbers. We had about 700 viewers when Huk joined us, and he still had his stream on too, but for those of us who do events on our stream and just stream randomly can't really be expected to get a consistent 500 viewership. And you get auto partner if you have 800k views on your stream... this isn't youtube... unless you are streaming 24 hours a day, a up and coming streamer has very little chance of getting that many... anyways just wanted you all to know how lucky the SC2 pros are for having almost auto viewership due to their successes playing the game, love them lots.
Also, sad news, chances are I will be leaving the "competitive" playing aspect of the beautiful game of SC2. I really just don't have the time between trying to continue DJ Wilma - Game On, where we give away free games, casting, DJing, working on my brothers video game coming out in Feb, and life in general. I still havn't had the time to qualify for season 3.... I will try my best to keep up with my playing in case I get a nice break in life, but until then, I will have to hang up my gloves and keep to casting for now :D
Much love guys (the blog will continue, just be less about playing)
