I was looking through the first post, trying to decipher any of the clues, and the only thing I can think of, though it's still too early to tell is the following:

"he gazed up to look at his tv, only too see an uncomprehensable phrase before the tv exploded, killing Scaramanga in the blast."

Scaramanga died while looking up at his tv, which then exploded. A tv exploding could make us question which channel was on when it killed Scaramanga. Showtime is a popular premium tv station, which hosts some violent shows (probably irrelevant), and the player Showtime! fits it even better, as I often see exclamation marks as an explodey like symbol. Such as in cartoons, if anyone ever wants to demonstrate an explosion (in the Loony Toons cartoony way), it's often done with various symbols, the exclamation point being one of the more prominent ones.

Of course this is still Day 1, we should wait and see if any other clues point towards Showtime! in the coming days, before making a solid decision to lynch him.

Sorry about my inactivity in this thread, my cat is sick, and I had to take her to the vet yesterday (and spend $300 on bloodwork!), so I've only been able to read through this thread and not really contribute to it.

Though I'm going to wait until the Day 2 post happens before I really add anything. At the moment, the clues we have to go on are really tough to see, and will be easier to grasp as things move along. Right now it seems that the most is going on is speculation about the CK, and how we can get him on our side. And I really don't have anything to add to that, as most of the bases have been covered, and we really don't know enough about the role to go on.

My guess is that it was a typographical error on BC's part, as "Before he could turn around bockit head was slammed into the jute box over and over till he died." seems pretty clear that Bockit did in fact die.

I had originally intended on being active, posting fake clue analysis all the time, and had started with the Day 1 post. Then I had everything happen with my cat, and was away for a day. Then I came back, jumped on AIM/IRC, and just decided to lay low, as I really am more of a lurker type. Regardless of alignment, I would have read through the entire thread, make post here or there, vote, and leave clue analysis to the people who are good at it.

I agree with the voting thing. Even if it's just to say you abstain. Had there been more active townies, there's no way us mafia would have had the balls to come out in the open, and mass vote JeeJee/Monoxide, as well as RETRACT our double lynch votes that had already been cast.

I'll admit, I was the one that sent in the kills for our mafia the last night. And it was so very very tempting to put something like Ver, LTT, and LucasWoJ down. Or, straight up go Chuiu, Chuiu, Chuiu, and see if BC modified the write up for him at all. Would have been great if the post was a giant gang bang- esque kill, but without all the literal rape.
