sAviOr

Last 10 ZvZ: 7-3 (70%)
Last 10 overall: 7-3 (70%)
ZerO
All time ZvZ: 18-15 (55.45%)
Last 10 ZvZ: 7-3 (70%)
Last 10 overall: 6-4 (60%)
Statistical Odds:

ZerO
The Maestro has returned to the MSL Quarterfinal after a long 3-season wait. As TL floods with the shouts of his fanboys saying that he will destroy everyone in 2009, he takes on the Zerg upstart from Woongjin. Zero has risen from mediocrity to become a star Zerg on his team.
Savior comes into this game with a 7-3 record in both his last 10 ZvZ and his last 10 overall. During his prime, he was always known for his invincibility in the matchups of ZvP and ZvT. However, his ZvZ is not to be underestimated, as it sits at a solid 59% winrate. The big problem is that Savior has not played a televised ZvZ for more than two weeks. However, he has much better practice partners in the CJ house (Effort/Kwanro) than Zero does at Woongjin (GGPlay).
Zero, meanwhile, comes fresh off of a 2-1 comeback win against Yellow[arnc]. ZvZ is definitely his most solid matchup imo. However, Zero has never made it past the group stage of any StarLeague, so he suffers from a huge experience disadvantage against Savior, a Bonjwa.
Sets 1 and 5 are played on Destination. Zero has considerably more televised games than Savior on this map. However, Savior does sport a decent record on this map. I predict that Zero will take Set 1, but if it comes to Set 5, experience will lead Savior through to the semifinals.
Set 2 is played on Byzantium 2. Savior has previously beaten Zero on this map, and even though it was a BO win, I believe that he will do it again. So it should be 1-1 at this point.
Set 3 is played on Carthage. Zero thumbed down this map, but Savior has no televised ZvZ matches on this map. Zero is the winner of the only ZvZ ever played on this map. This is game is really a tossup.
Set 4 is played on Neo Harmony. Zero has been a beast on this map, going 3-1. Looking at the list of the ZvZ's played on this map, it looks like the better ZvZ'er usually wins. Despite Zero's record on this map, I think Savior will take this and either win it 3-1 or tie it up at 2-2.
Set 5: Experience pays off in Set 5. Savior takes the series 3-2 if he hasn't already won 3-1. Zero hasn't done enough to prove to me that he is a top-tier Zerg. But he has taken down many top players recently and I won't be surprised if he takes down Savior.

People highly underestimate Savior's ZvZ. They seriously need to go take a look at his Match list. Plus, he has the 2nd highest ZvZ ELO, above Luxury.

ZerO is easily the most underrated zerg out there right now. His TLPD stats don't do him justice and his only real issue is his absolutely abysmal consistency. If he learned how to keep his "yawn rape" persona out there he would be the next S-class zerg, easily.

When it comes to control, Zero > Savior. So I'd currently give Zero the edge too in this matchup. Of course, Zero is unpredictable and can implode. But skills wise, he is better at ZvZ. Because unfortunately, Savior's superior game sense and macro is minimized in this matchup.

The thing that gives me hope is that he hasn't lost to anyone terrible lately, like he used to do. (Well, maybe you can say oov is terrible at this point in time, but he did some clever things in that game that threw Zero off.)
