Say the president gets to be mayor and lynch someone: If the president is scum and we vote to lynch a townie he'll just do it, no repercussions because "hey, you said so". If the president is scum and we vote to lynch his scum buddy, he may do it for town credit (depending on how much we want to kill his scum buddy) or he may not do it (but seems unlikely no matter what contingency we have in mind). I also think that it's more likely that a town president will NOT listen to town than it is that scum president will NOT listen. In the end, I think it's a good idea to sort of agree on a lynch but your plan (like most plans) is sort of meh and we'll get more out of just playing the game and analyzing whatever happens. It's sort of the same argument for any other presidential power, if town votes to use it poorly and the president is scum, then he'll just do it and say "You told me to do that!" and in any other case, the president will play around it. kitaman27 said he thought President was mayor, this doesn't seem far fetched. General Secretary could be pardoner? Both could be sort of protected against NK? This is purely speculative and anything could happen in this super themed game, that's just how these things often are in a normal game. | ||

We don't even need a plan. If someone nobody reads town oddly gets elected president and we ask him to kill someone everybody reads scum, but instead he kills the towniest guy around who then flips town, then what does it matter if we had a plan or not in the first place? We'll still need to react to what actually happened and ask ourselves if scum would trade 1 for 1 in that situation. It's the same thing for whoever holds the gun to the president's head, if we have a plan saying "If he doesn't do what town says, we kill him", then if he is scum and the president is town he'll see it as a free pass. In the end, your actions are your own and only you can control them and you need to take responsibility yourself. | ||

apparently he had a nuke this nuke is fired from a PM (not from thread) in spite of this, he decided to inform the thread that he was the nuker and then he fired it as disformation even though he could have sat on it and fired it ANONYMOUSLY at someone who was town and had a cool role or whatever | ||
