EPTI think 2 port wraiths followed up with tankdrop is good, but often you end up with 2 facts (+starport) when you spot his cc.
Any thoughts?

It will often work because fast expansion does not allow one who is doing it to have many units to attack early (while most of your units are on your enemy's cliff) and if he does, he can't possibly mount large scale attack. Just use 1 dropship to ferry the units up the cliff. Maybe send the extra units to a place near his cliff before you do this so it goes faster. Another build order that counters this, IMO, is 2 factories --> armory ---> starport. Make a tank before acad arrives, then 2 golies, and 2 more tanks, and 2 dropships(one after another) in the starport. Get siege before dropping your enemy and then drop his main. You'll be spending every cent but it can be done fast. OF course this is a very specific build order, an opening you can say, and may not suit your style. Anyway, that's my input. Good luck | ||
