Download here!

Hi, my name is Mark “(Wiki)ElhayM” Leonardo. I am a 19-year-old student from Vancouver, Canada and the Assistant Team Captain of (Wiki)Clarity Gaming. I am currently pursuing a diploma in Digital Design and Development at BCIT while playing Starcraft II at a competitive level. I usually float around the top 100 Grandmaster League on the North American Server with an attitude to keep improving. My playstyle focuses on active and reactive scouting to make effective decisions leading me to victory and out-multitasking my opponent with Medivac drops to limit their overall options.

In TvZ, I focus on effective scouting with the Reaper, supported by Hellions, to make decisions based on Gas, Expansion timings, Queen and Drone count. My go-to build is a modified version of what Polt does; using the Viking to clear overlords to support a Mine and Marauder Drop (as seen vs (Wiki)LzGaMeR and (Wiki)CatZ). I also do various timing builds that are apart from the standard 14 CC such as the (Wiki)Flash build and (Wiki)MVP Build.

You’re attacking here? I’ll drop there.

With many fights taking place at different angles, along with counters in the form of runbys and drops, TvZ is an extremely mechanical matchup and can swing back and forth in either player’s favor. I like to out-multitask my opponent with aggression and counter-drops throughout the game, forcing them to choose whether to defend or attack. Depending on their choice, I try to capitalize on their decisions, such as attacking in multiple places if they choose to defend.

In TvP, scouting is the make or break of the matchup. Under- preparing or over-preparing for the many options and all-ins Protoss has in the early game is quite the annoyance, but is something Terran has to deal with and accept. The use of the Reaper, SCV, and Scans to provide me with information such as gas timings, tech structure placements, and army composition/position help me succeed in this matchup, as most of the players I play on the ladder are Protoss.

I like to keep Protoss warm in the Winter with EMP Blankets.

After initial scouting leading to the midgame, I work up to the standard Marine, Marauder, Viking, and Ghost composition. I love to use Medivac drops to make my opponents feel uncomfortable and unsafe. My initial goals are to deny the thirds of the Protoss with drops or Widowmines to force an all-in, or effectively turtle to a Ghost/Viking composition which absolutely shatters Protoss lategame armies (as seen vs (Wiki)Darkness).

In TvT, I avoid gas first openers due to the volatility of Cloak Banshee vs Cloak Banshee. I prefer to use Bio Expands; specifically, 2-Rax Reaper. I like using this semi-all-in expansion build to give me scouting information, and the potential to end, or do severe damage in the early game (as seen vs (Wiki)SeleCT). Some may argue that this build is light-countered by Tank all-ins; however, with proper scouting and build timing, everything works out perfectly, and you are rewarded with a faster Stimpack, and an expansion (as seen vs iLoveMKP).

I’ll attack you, and drop you; repeatedly.

Although there are a very small amount of Terrans on the ladder, I always look forward to this matchup because of how dynamic of a mirror matchup TvT truly is. Due to the amount of extremely aggressive and all-in openers that are happening in the metagame today, I prefer to sit back and relax until it is my time to attack. Whether it’s Bio or Mech, I still love to drop in this matchup because I feel this matchup is exactly like TvZ, but not with super fast units. Out-multitasking and out-positioning my opponent in a mirror matchup is an extremely rewarding experience since we have the same tools, but different viewpoints of the matchup. The fact that TvT is a slow paced matchup yet it can turn into a total slugfest right from the beginning is why I loved TvT ever since Wings of Liberty.

There are sixteen replays in this pack (6 TvZ, 6 TvP, and 4 TvT), including games against players like (Wiki)puCK, (Wiki)TT1, (Wiki)DeMusLiM, (Wiki)SeleCT, (Wiki)CatZ and (Wiki)LzGaMeR. All these games were played on the North American Server, in both ladder and tournament scenarios. All replays are in the current version (2.0.12), using strategies that are in the current Metagame. I have much to improve and learn still, so I hope you enjoy and learn a bit from these replays.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these replay packs or anything Terran, you can follow and ask me through any of the links below and I’ll try to give you an optimal response.

Thank you very much for reading my post and have a Merry Christmas! Please continue to support my team (Wiki)Clarity Gaming; we’re pretty awesome!

I just want to say Elhaym has a very informative terran stream with good commentary if that is what you are looking for. Think Demuslim with less personal life drama.

finally a terran replay pack. Thanks!
Can we help spread the word and create pressure to get Rob Pardo to replace Browder as head of Sc2? Pardo led the team for broodwar, frozen throne, and wow/BC. We need to make this a thing before LotV development starts. Think about it.

I dont agree in TvP im afraid. It´s a very reactiorany style tbh and the builds are no where near safe

In your game vs Darkness, are you delaying/skipping armour upgrades on purpose? If so, what is your reasoning, or what are you cutting it for, more medivacs?
