The last two weeks have been very exciting for Clarity Gaming, as we have grown our family with some of the most talented players in North America, and have also had some great performances outside of NA. We have made quite a few additions to our family, and we’re still in the process of finalizing some others.
Welcome to the Bi-Weekly update for 4/17 - 4/31! This wrap up contains some info on our players in WCS Premier and Challenger, our recently finalized Academy roster, and the acquisition of an up and coming Dota2 team.
Now that our website is back up, we will be posting shortened versions of our Bi-Weekly Wrap Up here on TL.You will be able to find the full length articles on our website here: www.claritygaming.com

We are all incredibly excited to see how these players grow and perform in the future! What better event to start our academy off with than a showmatch!
Academy Showdown
The idea of an academy team is not new by any stretch of the imagination. Due to the lack of new team leagues and events in NA coinciding with our roster announcement we would like to announce the first showmatch our academy will be participating in. We will be playing CompLexity’s Academy team in a Bo9 Winner’s Style showmatch! Team CompLexity has had their academy for nearly two years graduating the likes of Goswser and Sasquatch. It is an honor to have our academy go up against the players in the longest-running SC2 Academy team. We will be announcing full details on the showmatch tomorrow evening.

WCS has been an exciting time for Clarity. Our players in both our main team and our academy have participated in both the EU and NA qualifiers, and a many of them have shown incredible play in both regions.
Shuttle Qualifies for Ro32 WCS EU
Shuttle performed very well in the European WCS Premier League Qualifiers. He participated in all four qualifiers, being eliminated early in the first two qualifiers in the volatile Bo1 format. Fortunately for Seongjin, he managed to perform very well in the next two qualifiers, achieving top 4 in the third qualifier, narrowly missing the cut off, losing to Krass in the semi-finals, one round away from qualifying. In the last qualifier, Shuttle managed to take one of the final two spots, becoming the only Korean to qualify for the WCS European Premiere League through these gruelling tournaments.
Shuttle played in the Ro32 WCS EU Premier League against some of the best players Europe has to offer. He played against Dreamhack Open: Stockholm runner-up Alliance.NaNiwa, and unfortunately took a quick 0-2 loss going into the loser’s match. He showed some resilience though against Ukraine’s ladder king Empire.Kas, winning a close 2-1 series against him. Once again Shuttle was pitted against NaNiwa (who came off a loss against Liquid`TLO), but unfortunately could not get a foothold against the Swede, falling out of the group and into the WCS EU Challenger League.
Killer Round of 32 WCS NA
Killer also played in WCS Ro32, in the NA region. This group was one of the hardest groups yet, with some of the best players out there, including Liquid`Hero, EG.Alive, and 8thTeam.MajOr. Killer had a tough road ahead of him, playing against EG.Alive in his first match.
Killer managed to be the first foreigner to beat a Korean in WCS Ro32, going into the winner’s match. Unfortunately for Killer, he had to face one of the world’s finest Protoss players in Liquid`Hero, falling 0-2. In the final match, Killer once again faced Alive, but was unable to repeat his earlier performance against him, falling in a similar fashion to his teammate Shuttle. Be sure to catch him in the Challenger League coming up!
Clarity Academy in WCS NA
Premier League Qualifier
Clarity Academy had some great performances in the World Championship Series NA qualifier, with a couple big splashes from our newest members.

Challenger League Qualifier
With their solid performances in the Premier League qualifier, TBo, Badcop, Elige, and Bails had the opportunity to participate in the Challenger League Invite-Only qualifier to determine the “Code A” of WCS NA Season 1.
