EPTStarting in May 2013 we are going to reboot the SC2 scene in Seattle and get back to large scale locals with top level competition.
Entry: $15 ($10 to Prizes, $5 to Venue)
Format:
League based format where we run small bracket competitions for Diamond and below for the right to earn a spot in the Finals Bracket.
These small events will be Double Elimination, Best of ONE series.
Bronze and Silver in one group. Gold and Platinum in one group. Diamond in their own group.
The top half of these groups will advance to the Final Round Bracket.
Final Round Bracket will be Double Elimination, Best of THREE sets.
Grand Masters (and maybe High Masters) will get a Bye in this bracket, allowing for the lower league players who advanced to get one round before they face a GM (and maybe a High Master).
There are no prizes for the Lower League Brackets.
Prize Pool for Final Bracket:
20 or Less Players: Top 2 paid Prizes at 70%, 30%
21 or More Players: Top 3 paid Prizes at 65%, 25%, 10%
Schedule:
Noon: Doors Open
1pm: Lower Leagues Start
3pm: Final Round Bracket registration closes.
3:30pm: Final Round Bracket Begins

We would appreciate it if Masters and GMs could show up early to give some aid and advice to the lower league players, sort of a mini working boot camp like thing.
