His greatness, the one and only
BitByBit
Fan Club

BitByBit is the most determined player the world has ever witnessed, who devoted his entire career into a single strategy: SCV all-in. Because of his cheesy playstyle, many people in this community didn’t like him. He was not properly appreciated back when he was at his prime in GSL. Now that he has retired, at least for now, let us finally give him the praise he deserves. Remember, we ordinary people often fail to notice outstanding achievements in time. The works of greats such as Vincent van Gogh, Gregor Mendel or Évariste Galois received fair recognition only after their deaths. It’s not too late. Better late than never. All hail BitByBit!

BitByBitPrime, 'I want to join a team.'

BitByBitPrime had a taste of happiness while advancing to the GSL

Q. How does it feel to qualify?
A. I tried in season 2, but lost to NEXGenius in the semis. I passed today, and it feels numb. It made me look forward to the future games.

Q. How were today's qualifiers?
A. I don't think there was a known player in my bracket. I played against rainfOu in the last match, but I ended the game within 10 minutes with a timing attack.

Q. Did you practice a lot?
A. I was hospitalized until yesterday since a liver inflammation. I wasn't too confident, but I thought I'd just try my best out here.

Q. Do you have plans on joining a team?
A. I believe that someone will offer me, if my skill is good enough. I do want to join a do well and put myself at a higher level.

Q. I want to know if you have any progaming experience.
A. I didn't apply to be a SCBW progamer or anything. I started to play SC2 in mid-September, but I was active under a popular clan back in SCBW. I think SC2 fits me better, because the interface allows me to catch up my flaws.

Q. Have you decided on a goal?
A. Not yet, I will do my best game by game.

Q. Is there a play style you prefer?
A. I don't prefer specific play styles, but I like adjusting my game to the opponent. Today was a special case of me preparing for the final match and participated today with a specialized TvZ build. Normally, I adjust in-game.

Q. Any comments?
A. I want to thank my parents who allowed me to keep playing games. I also want to thank my girlfriend who cheered for me.

BitByBitPrime, 'I should do well in the round of 32 if I practice well.'

BitByBitPrime has advanced to the round of 32 by defeating Swedish zerg player Liquid'HayprO.

Q. How does it feel to advance to the round of 32?
A. It feels numb and unreal, just like when I qualified. My determination to try harder in the round of 32 just got bigger.

Q. You played against a foreigner zerg player, how was it?
A. I'm not too sure, he was just a standard zerg player.

Q. In the first set, your cheese rush avoiding his sight of vision was very good.
A. I felt that I could move out with my scv's after killing the zerglings in the middle of the map even if he decided to control the Xel'Naga tower. Since my marines had map control, I could sneak in the scv's.

Q. In the second set, your tricky build with a banshee was good.
A. It was a strategy designed for Scrap Station. I saw that many players used banshees on this map and tried to do a tricky build. It worked just like I expected.

Q. I heard that you joined the Prime team.
A. I'm practicing in the Prime team house. I've been receiving a lot of help especially by watching MakaPrime's games. There are many players with good standard plays to learn from, so my play has improved a lot.

Q. What is your goal for this season?
A. My goal is to get Code S. I think it's possible if I prepare well.

Q. Your next opponent is NewDawn, who just defeated ST_Rainbow.
A. I think I can do it if I prepare correctly. I believe that I can win even though he is a strong opponent.

Q. Any comments?
A. I joined the team last Saturday and I've been adjusting very well thanks to coach Park Weh-Sik, Lee Joong-Hun and others. I want to thank them.

BitByBitPrime, 'Code S, I'm confident.'

BitByBitPrime has advanced to the round of 16 by defeating NewDawn.

Q. How does it feel to advance to the round of 16?
A. It feels very good. I will try my best knowing that there is just one match left until Code S. My goal was to get to the round of 8, and I will play the matches to my full potential.

Q. Your next opponent is either TSL_FruitDealer or sCfOu.
A. It doesn't matter who advances as long as I prepare well. Even if TSL_FruitDealer ends up advancing, I think I can win given that I have perfect preparation. I got a lot of help from MarineKingPrime and I plan to get more help from him for the next match. I also practiced with MakaPrime and there are many good zergs on our team, so I'm not too worried.

Q. The reason you were so aggressive with the cheese rush?
A. I put an extra effort into the cheese rush thinking that I don't have a future if it gets stopped. If I bring scv's, it doesn't increase the firepower, but they are very useful as shields.

Q. The second set was a cheese rush as well.
A. It was a build I never used before. I was going to harass with banshees and go for a late management game, but I was too shocked that I was scouted. I decided to make more barracks and let the game play out. I scouted no banelings with the banshee, so I looked for a timing for the cheese rush. I knew it would work.

Q. Is your style very aggressive?
A. If I prepare a build like that, the zerg cannot stop it. The second map was a map that I was going to throw away. I made the banshee build a few hours before coming here, so I was looking to play set 3 and I was able to advance much easier than I expected.

Q. I heard that you get a lot of help from Prime.
A. I get a lot of help. There is a big difference between living in a team house and practicing privately. It's only been 10 days since I joined the team house, and the help from my teammates have been a huge boost. Even though my opponent didn't have a team, he prepared by exchanging information with many gosu's, so I was very nervous.

Q. Any comments?
A. I want to prepare well for the rest of the matches and get Code S.

In 2010/2011, when haters openly persecuted and condemned BitByBit supporters, some courageous people stood up and signed up to the old fan clubs which are now closed due to hateful messages. They endured dark days for BitByBit fans to pave the way for us today. Thinking of the hardships of these predecessors, this new fan club honors them for their foresight and bravery.
