With great pride in our hearts we're ready to present you the latest addition to our StarCraft II team.
Ladies and Gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to Kim "Oz" Hak Soo who will be playing under black and orange flag from now on. This young and ambitious Protoss player had just placed in GSL Code S Round of 8, and has a lot of other achievements behind his belt, such as placing 4th at 2012 MLG Pro Circuit Winter Arena.
We would like to thank team FXO for being amazingly professional during the transfer, here's the statement from FXO.BoSs:
It's been a pleasure getting to know Hak Soo over the last year. Unfortunately, our vision for the future did not line up and foreign events became more of a priority for him. We look forward to him becoming the best player he can possibly be and will always be supportive of his endevours.
Our General Manager, Elroy "Noname" Pinto has issued the following statement:
Today we are happy to bring Oz over into our team. He has impressed us a lot and his presence in the team will be
welcomed. Oz is someone who brings over a unique aura over to the team, he gets along well with everyone on our team and is a great personality in the scene. GSTL is something we take really seriously and I believe with this move we get that much closer to achieving a strong performance in the upcoming season as well as other team leagues. A huge round of thanks to Hwanni for helping us seal the deal and RaidCall, MSI, SteelSeries & EIZO for making this awesome pick up possible. Let's do this fnatic.
Here is the small interview with our new player:
Thoughts/comments on the transfer?
It is an honor to join FnaticRaidCall, a well renowned team that possesses a long history and tradition within esports industry. I am grateful of Team Fnatic on recruiting me and I will put as much effort as possible to provide stellar results in return. Also, I would like to thank both Coach Choya and Owner Boss for respecting my decision when I decided to make a move.
Expectation values of the team as a new player?
There is a particular practice format within the team. I consider and value on the teammates' union instead of the number of players on the team. Because I possess a strong friendship with current players on Team Fnatic, I think we will be well-fitted and provide positive synergetic effects to each other. The main reason why I decided this transfer is because of the guarantee of my participating in multiple foreign tournaments. In the past, Fnatic's Counter Strike team had attended in many foreign tournaments and I am excited of such numerous attendance of foreign tournaments as well.
Particular goals?
Unfortunately I have not been able to lift up a trophy of any major tournaments yet. I am going to start fresh in Team Fnatic and build up my career with multiple championships under my belt. The GSTL will commence soon and since it's the first time that Fnatic is participating in the GSTL, I would like to exhibit a strong impression. Although it may seem that we have a very thin layer of players compared to other teams, We will show the underlying true strength of our team.
Any last words?
Thank you to all of the fans who have been shown a substantial amount of support, and from now, the enchantment and spells of FnaticOz will commence. Please provide a lot of support and cheers.
