And, yes. The main thing is, HwaSin is playing god damn good, he seems to be "mastering" the game. Maybe not at his finest, but still. Yeah, still, you know that Nal_rA is playing his game. Well, it may not be obvious in this one, but it certainly is on the second replay. Oh and, thank you uhjoo for sharing.

What a fabulous game! It's also interesting to note that Nal_ra's APM was below 200 in both games and hwasin's is inflated with 46% hotkey ... He's trying to do things too quickly, as you can see his macro is good but his supply placement is sloppy (which matters) and he had many idle scvs. He's concentrating on mechanical speed more than strategy. An unfortunate circumstance for Hwasin was either his neglect or just miscalculation of income and production ability - after annihilating Nal_ra's first army, and pushing into the natural, Hwasin had about 2k of both mins and gas, although he did not stop production. I believe someone like Oov would have planned ahead by building more factories or getting more expos and would be maxing out at 200/200 at that time instead of watching his funds increase. WIth that said, it was a masterpiece of gaming

Yeah but he thought he had the game... Psychology is part of the game ![]() About any game you can say "oh Chungsung should have moved his cruisers. Why would he leave them idle in a useless place ![]() Basically most come back games between high level gamers are based in a large part on luck and mistakes/negligence of the player with the advantage. You are right of course, when attacking Nal_ra's natural with goliaths he should have split them. But that is not what most players are used to thinking, plus habbits are very strong in starcraft. I don't think he anticipated to see quite so many templars... unquestionably a 10 vulture run in before goliaths could have done miracles if hwasin had anticipated and prepared against the templars. He could have won in spite of that if he managed his resources better...
