In January I made a thread http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=189098 while I was in the design stages for a vehicular combat based video game. Well, our game has just finished alpha and we a very proud of what we have accomplished.
The video below is about a week old and we plan on so much more in beta. But any feed back is welcomed regardless. (Remember this is only two months of programming and no sleep!)

Wow, did you know that going into that, or was Autodesk just like LOLOL U CAN'T HAZ MONEYS all of a sudden? Because I could see the latter happening, and it would crush me if I was in your shoes.
Will you be able to get some form of ad/sponsorship money in any way? Or was it always and forever intend to and going to continue to be free?
Our game is intended to be free currently. We just want to build a good following and interest. The copyright issues are more or less us needing money to buy the maya license that lets us sell our game for profit, its nothing complicated. We are hoping that our game will get picked up by some sponsor in the future though but we are going to wait till beta is over before pursuing that route.

license to use maya products for commercial use doesn't come cheap, that's what he's saying

Lol, I'm not sure how exactly that started. Either the artist misspelled it the first time concept art was done it or it's part of Sam's name. It's just a thing we're keeping now.
I would have picked the golf cart with the roll-up-garage-door too
Nice world setting. Can't imagine how much work this entailed building this. Must have had lots of lows and highs. Glad its coming together and you have something that resembles a finished product. I imagine a lot of projects like these burn out. Way to stick with it!

Yeah we exceeded our alpha goals by a mile until our VFX guy spent a whole month and got nothing in our game. So beta is just going to look spectacular. We are currently designing two more game modes and 3 more pickups. Luckily SC is at night so when I never sleep at least I still get to throw SC2 parties. Burn out is never an option!
Yea, twisted metal was actually a deep inspiration behind this game. I played twisted metal 2 for hours so I could understand their AI and driving systems, and then make them better xD.
If you guys rlly love twisted metal def get this on steam in two months.
