Original Message From Pandain:
GIVE ME THOUGHTS NOW YUM YUM

YUM YUM MONSTA DEMANDS BRAIN FOOD

Yum Yum ==> Food
Food ==> Sausage
Sausage ==> "Franks"
Frankenstein

Frankenstein also has no thoughts, meaning he would require others to feed him thoughts. He also has no tact, which in text would be represented with proper punctuation and capitalization and would demand such items without properly asking.

k 1 down 60 to go

Question about the game:
Franky: if he die 1st time, will be be aware about it? will anyone else know that he only has 1 life left? lynching cost him 2 life or 1?

I requires the number of people could have for each roles. What i mean is for Example:
GF = 1
Count = 1
zombie = 0 ->31
Frank = 0 ->31????????????
DTs = 0-31?
...

host, would you like me to pm this to you or you can answer this on the thread?

also about red's roles, could they have more than 1 person for each role? i mean 5 invisible men ect?

If a role is denoted by ? of ? then the total number (and hence the number remaining) are unknown, and as such the host will not just give you the answer. It could even be 0 (though probably not as that's not any fun). It's planned by the host as part of the game balance, meaning that there are not 31 Frankensteins for example.

If Frankenstein is lynched he's dead. So leave Pandain alone.

Ironically Pandain's PM indicating he's Frankenstein reminded me this thing even started lol

First off, http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/profile.php?user=Artanis[Xp] (can't get the link to work, because of brackets copy/paste it with the [xp] part included) isn't actually linked on the main page (just underlined) so you may have missed this.

Wikipedia
In Norse mythology, Mjǫllnir (also spelled Mjöllnir or Mjölner, pronounced /ˈmjɔːlnɪər/ or /ˈmjɔːlnər/ in English) is the hammer of Thor, a major god associated with thunder in Norse mythology. Distinctively shaped, Mjöllnir is depicted in Norse mythology as one of the most fearsome weapons, capable of leveling mountains.
...
Mjöllnir simply means "crusher", referring to its pulverizing effect. Mjöllnir might be related to the Russian word молния (molniya) and the Welsh word mellt (both words being translated as "lightning").

Describing the image
Drawing of a 4.6 cm gold-plated silver Mjöllnir pendant found at Bredsätra on Öland, Sweden. The original is housed at the Swedish Museum of National Antiquities.

Narrator Night 1
Qatol turned around to defend himself but was met with a hammer. The silver instrument bashed his skull to pieces and the tall figure laughed maniacally as Qatols head crumbled into dust.

Narrator Night 2
He sat under a stoop, clutching his brown bag of liquor, hoping the rain would end soon. The drizzle quickly became a storm and soon lightning followed it. A single bolt of lightning stuck the ground in front of coag, illuminating a huge man in front of him.

Coagulation heard a sound like metal scraping against the ground and he looked to the man who was holding a huge hammer. Coagulation's eyes widened in fear but he couldn't run before the huge hammer struck the side of his skull, crushing his head into a fine powder.

Seems like a clear cut case to me. Lynch Artanis.

It's not the clear cut. Artanis only joined the game during night phase 1. That means none of the clues in day 1 could relate to him.

As for this day's death, it could indeed point to him. But it could also point to the same person that day1's clue referred to with the lightning part added in as a red herring.

Hmm. That explains the discrepancy between Night 1 and Night 2 -- the "hammers" used in both seemed to have a different descriptive quality, and the dude Artanis replaced had no profile at all.

However, the recent post seems to allude very heavily to the Mjöllnir and thus Artanis. But good eye on the replacement bit.

Voting MetalFace.

Day 4 clue:
It was a quiet night at the Mothman Movie Theatre and thegilaboy was the only person in attendance for a midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture show. Or so he thought. The movie ended and he walked down the stairs of the dark theatre room, hearing a clanking behind him.

He turned to see an enormous shadow. Feeling threatened, thegilaboy leaped out and struck the large figure. Even though he possessed superhuman strength, the bones of his fist broke easily as he punched what seemed to be impenetrable armor. The figure simply picked thegilaboy off the ground and snapped his neck with one hand. He was found sitting upright in a chair with both of his eyes missing.

Seems like a strong clue, and additionally he's quietly slipped a vote on Kenpachi without making a single post in this thread since the Day 4 post (idk when he last posted, I didn't search before then, but he only has 14 total posts total). This seems substantially stronger than what's on Kenpachi.

This post for reference.

Color-codes: Mafia and Vampire for ease of discernment, and town-aligned (includes gravedigger/creeper). Bold for power-roles.

I have verified all votes and their counts myself and noted discrepancies with Dr. H's count.

I like HeavOnEarth for the quote, though not sure how the "lots of time on their hands" fits in. Will have to sleep on this.

Also, for this:
CubEdIn got up late at night to fix himself a midnight snack. He opened the refrigerator and felt a chill on the back of his neck. There was nothing behind him that he could see, but as he concentrated more there seemed to be a faint outline of a human form. Before he could examine it further, or run, he was stabbed through the chest by a blade he would never see.

This sounds like it would match the dude with the DT pic in their profile, but I forget who's pic that was, and IIRC they died. It could also be an extremely vague reference to QuickStriker -- someone who strikes quickly. Not nearly as strong as my Artanis find though.. will look more deeply into these and their voting patterns tomorrow to see if there's something there.

Things to look for: obviously the first day vote is very telling. The second day vote doesn't say much (maybe who pushed fastest to get the ball rolling? But IIRC it was rolling that night anyway..) but the third and fourth days were close enough that they should be enlightening.

~night

Dude wtf, there are 11 vampires total not 3. There are 5 vampires remaining and 4 mafia remaining based on my count from the previous page.

However, I think the clue is very fitting. Nice find.

My analysis of the Day 1 Lynch. Not necessarily for today as I think we have a good candidate now, but something to keep your eye out for.

Format: <Masq - Veldril> <vote> <timestamp> <voter>
Remember, Vampire, Mafia and Town with bold meaning power roles. (player X, player Y) means player sub from X to Y.

The top 4 voted for Veldril when there was still a very good chance he would take the lead over Masq, and jcarlsoniv bailed to Masq after it became clear that he was going to get the majority vote. Note that bumatlarge also switched from Veldril to Masq shortly thereafter.

Well I am not and would be interested in hearing your reasoning

What're your thoughts on the clue relationship to your profile?

Dude wtf, there are 11 vampires total not 3. There are 5 vampires remaining and 4 mafia remaining based on my count from the previous page.

However, I think the clue is very fitting. Nice find.

Nono, I meant for the first day clue since vampires only have 3 kill points, that only 3 of the clues can point to vampires and the other 3 has to point to mafias.

Oh haha. Makes much more sense.

Seriously people, Vampire and Mafia. Helps keep it straight. If you want to indicate power roles, bold.

I voted for Masq, a vampire, and Artanis[Xp], a mafia. Both votes could have swung either way. Why would I push to lynch one of my own kind? Also I have voted for who I suspect, not always with the bandwagon.

You voted for Masq towards the end, when it was -very clear- that he was going to get lynched. So this isn't as convincing as you make it out to be. I'll give you Artansis as your vote's somewhere in the middle, and I don't feel like doing a full-blown analysis of that vote right now.

If you look back at my clue analysis I have called out both Aeres, a mafia, and MetalFace, a vamp. Again, why would I attack a teammate? If you can find a post of mine that wasn't pro-town, point it out.

You "called out" MetalFace along with several (putting it lightly) other people...

Here is a stream of consciousness analysis for the day four clues. I admit some of the relations may be weak, I just listed anything that could possibly pick out that would match a clue.

Artanis[Xp] was polishing his hammer in the garage when he heard a sound like metal dragging on the ground. He turned quickly toward the source of the noise, but saw nothing. He shrugged and continued working on his hammer when he felt something brush against his neck, it had fallen lightly on him from the ceiling. He looked up to see red eyes glowing back at him. His assailant dropped onto his body, rending his body with huge claws. He was found later that morning chained to the wall, his jaw removed from his skull.

Possible clues:
"metal dragging on the ground"
"huge claws"

For starters, there is this giant flying metal thing with claws hanging out of it belonging to SiNiquity.

"Metal" could also be a reference to the user name of MetalFace

"Claws" could belong to the tiger Hobbes contained in Node's profile

...and I couldn't find any post where you called out Aeres. Could you point me to it?

Others have been slipping by for weeks now, while this is the first time I've been even remotely suspect. Enough town has been targeted and modkilled, I just don't want you guys to waste another and fall even further behind. If there is a dt or even a mad scientist that wants to analyze the clue, then I wouldn't be opposed to prove my innocence.

So don't lynch active players? :\ And the invisible man is still out, so you'd probably come up mafia even if you were rolechecked tonight.
