▶ I practice around 12 hours. I think I sleep around 6 hours.
8. Historically, in terms of races you’ve always done very well against Protoss since you’ve debuted – what’s your secret? (태연암내하악v님)
▶ Honestly… I lack so much but I think luck has been on my side a lot.
9. There are some people who criticize you for having boring play – have you ever changed your style or thought of different plays because of this? (쿤다라니님)
▶ I have. I’m doing that now as well. However, a progamer can’t just not do the play he’s best at.
Honestly, my current style has existed since around 2 years ago but as I keep winning, I think the criticism got worse. I think the only answer is for me to keep trying haha.
10. What was the reason from transferring from WeMade to KT? (12님)
▶They told me to transfer to another team. But I said I didn’t want to. Because this was a road I chose, I wanted to stay at the place I wanted to.
However, there were some internal problems going on that forced me to transfer, and the other Pantech hyungs also thought that would be best. The one thing I’m sorry about is that I wasn’t able to be with the other Pantech hyungs till the end.
11. Starting with me, I think one of the fans biggest worries is that once you win you get too confident and get into a slump. Even if you correct your mindset and start practicing like crazy again, we’re worried you won’t be able to get out of that slump one day. What do you think about this? Please let us know if we shouldn’t be worried about this. (핫산님)
▶I’ve gone to the finals twice in a row, and I’m going again 3 times in a row. My desire to win is really strong, so I don’t think you’ll have to worry about something like that.
12. Do you still like KARA’s Nicole, or is there another celebrity you’ve started to like? (asdf님)
▶I haven’t been able to watch any pop programs in the past 2~3 months so there isn’t T_T

14. After the proleague, you’ve had individual leagues which will end soon as well so you can finally rest – what do you plan on doing then? KT says that they’re going to send you guys abroad for off-season training, but besides that how do you plan on spending your time? - (최종병기짱님)
▶ After I get back from off-season training, I have to go to LA so I probably won’t have any free time. I’m just going to spend my time busily~

▶I plan on going on it more often once the season is over.
16. Do you have any practice advice or know-hows for other terran users who want to be good like you? (부케놀이님)
▶If you work hard on every aspect, you can do well. This is the most important thing – if you’re the type of person to play around here and there you can never become a progamer.
17. If you had to send your daughter to marry a progamer, who would it be? Also, who do you most NOT want to send her to marry? (백곰포비님)

19. In the past, your gaming style used to be so aggressive people called you "Speed Flash' but nowadays you just seem to sit in a corner and defend. Is there a reason for this change? (213123님)
▶ Honestly I don’t have an answer for a question like this.
I don't just map split, and you can't continue winning just by map-splitting over and over again.
My effort to keep changing is the sole reason for my results right now. I keep trying to continuously change.
2 years ago, map splitting was also the main strategy to use, but now that I'm winning I'm receiving a lot of criticism that it's boring. However, I believe I'm using plenty of other plays as well.
This is honestly one of the biggest issues that hurt me.
20. In the past during the OSL group selections you were the player that was most frequently chosen as the player whom people are closest with and while watching the group selections and the introductions, you seemed to be very close to other team players – is there any secret reason for this? ▶ There have been a lot of things I’ve been frustrated with, but I’m glad I had this opportunity today to reveal all of it. I hope there are more opportunities like this in the future. Fomos fighting!!!

***Also, I know a lot of people are commenting on the 'boring' nature of the interviews, but the truth is korean interviews are almost always like this (minus the more eccentric players who drew more attention like fbh). I know it can get repetitive but I personally appreciated this interview more than the usual post-game interviews because he revealed a bit more tidbits I never knew before about his past (in terms of transferring) or how he felt about the criticism he receives for his gameplay. You can say it's too politically correct and too manner and you'd be right in saying it - but that's just the culture of interviewing in general so there's not much that can be done about that but to appreciate the gems that sift out of some interviews.***
