However, if you look at some of the missing functionality, such as the need for open fields, there is already a button for that, however it isn't functioning. I already made a version in which the mineral line button works, so if you want I could see if I could make a new field area. Any other minor requests? Just looking at the triggers, it looks like I should be able to draft up the open field fairly quickly. | ||

The map is coming along nicely, I copied the double choke terrain that is included and made it a little larger as well as adding a ramp. Can't work on it tonight though as I am busy. | ||

For example: Marines vs Stalkers: 25 marines vs 10 stalkers: 25 marines = 1250 minerals, 25 supply. 10 stalkers = 1250 minerals, 500 gas, 20 supply. 1st run: 7 marines survive 2nd run: 5 marines survive 3rd run: 8 marines survive So at equal minerals marines are just as good as stalkers if no micro is involved, and you save 500 gas, at a cost of only 5 more supply. Marauders vs Immortals: 14 Marauders vs 4 Immortals: 14 marauders = 1400 minerals, 350 gas, 28 supply 4 immortals = 1000 minerals, 400 gas, 16 supply 1st run: 3 marauders survive 2nd run: 5 marauders survive 3rd run: 3 marauders survive Okay so 14 marauders seems enough to beat 4 immortals if no micro is involved. Can 13 do it? 13 marauders = 1300 minerals, 325 gas, 26 supply 4 immortals = 1000 minerals, 400 gas, 16 supply 1st run: 3 immortals survive 2nd run: 1 immortal survive 3rd run: 2 immortals survive Looks like 13 is not enough marauders to a-move win against 4 immortals. Keep in mind that even at 13 marauders that's costing you 300 more minerals and 10 more supply, saving you only 75 gas. Interesting stuff, I will do more testing tomorrow. | ||
