I hate how it looks most of all. What purpose does this cosmetic change serve? Nothing. It was not needed, plain and simple. And guess what we get out of it? Bugs, and more of them than expected from a patch like this. The obvious and intrucive bugs that came from this patch is proof enough that no testing went into this patch in terms of actually playing the game on it. They probably took 1 look at it and went "yep, this looks about right. hope there are no gameplay bugs!" The fog of war change is attrocious and very distracting on my eyes. Compared to everything else, the fact that it now takes 1 extra click to get to 1v1 ladder is also unbelievably annoying. It seems small and unnoticable to some people, but there are others that it bothers quite a bit, and I am positive that Im not the only one. I also find it to be wierd that they reversed the order of each game type bracket or whatever you call them, the 1v1 2v2 3v3 and 4v4. They went from 1v1 - 4v4, to 4v4 - 1v1. I think that is just hilarious, they are probably trying to get more people to play multiplayer or something. All in all, the patch was 100% unnecessary and serves no purpose at all. The players (customers) are experiencing very annoying in-game and out of game bugs that feel as if they were never tested for by Blizzard, which isnt surprising taking into account how much of a horrific failure diablo 3 is. | ||

And the entire thing looks like something out of Tron I think the graphics/fps are a lot better though, except for the fog of war. | ||

Confused me at first too. Though you could do that before this patch already, too. | ||

CTRL-SHIFT-ESCAPE brings up the task manager. Go to processes and terminate "Battle.net agent" or something similar, i don't recall it's exact name. Doing this instatly got out the normal launcher and i could start the game without a problem! | ||
