Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Definitely the biggest ones in this last episode being in the chase of Andrea: - she should hear the car coming very easily (no other noise) and hide.. or at least travel in the woods (zombies are apparently piece of cake in this season) - how the hell does he find her so quickly in the wharehouses maze? - why wouldn't she steal the car OR trash the tires of said car, so that she won't get chased? Oh well, it's almost over now!

I don't think these are big plot holes. He knew she was going to run through a field... and then hide in that particular abandoned warehouse. Yeah. Also, fairly certain they have all learned to hotwire cars by now. They seem to have an unlimited supply and never spend time searching for keys.

-Obvious plot developments at snail speed -How the hell the governor get out of this mess without a bite, manage to catch Andrea, kidnap her without making noise just under Rick's sight. Sorry that's way too much improbabilities and weak plot twists for my liking. -No Rick and cie. -Zombies are no more a threat (well havent been for a good number of episodes now). In a zombie movie, that's a shame. Everybody just laugh at them an kill them by the dozen with a knife or a spade. Maybe next episode they will kill them bare fisted ? -All the lasted episodes felt like fillers to get to the final one where we kinda know a battle will happen and someone will get killed. Too bad, the first semi-season was quite good in my opinion.

Sorry that's way too much improbabilities and weak plot twists for my liking. Plot armor is a factor in nearly every form of fiction. It's not even clear that he did escape without any injuries. Would it have been better if they had shown you the secret hole he fell into to escape the horde of zombies? Where's the drama in that? Also it wasn't "just under Rick's sight" it far enough that even through the scope it was barely visible. Again, done for drama. As for why Andrea fell to the ground so slowly, is it really that bad? Out of all the inconsistencies with this show, this is the type of thing people latch on to? How did the Governor know to go into the warehouse? Seemed to me like he was just stalking her. He's gone crazy. I thought immediately that he saw her go into the building and then it was just a matter of finding her inside. -No Rick and cie. -Zombies are no more a threat (well havent been for a good number of episodes now). Too bad, the first semi-season was quite good in my opinion. Yeah zombies are not as big of a thread. And that's to be expected. They are actually a really boring enemy. The people are the real enemies of the show as is their characterization. I think the Gov and Andrea could have been characterized better. Even so, the writers overuse the "zombie sneak attack" way too often anyway. Zombies get really boring both for the viewer and battle-hardened fictional characters. It's going to be man vs man from now on (as it's been for a while). As for why didn't Andrea steal the car, we can just assume that she ran in a hurry and the Gov had the keys. Yeah she didn't slash the tires, but that's a pretty minor detail. Would it have really made the episode that much better if they showed her slashing the tires and then seen the Gov return with a different car? A minor point and we didn't see what happened. IT could be that the path to the car was unavailable (other side of the warehouse?). I don't even consider this to be unrealistic since I sure as hell wouldn't expect people to think of going back around to the car, slashing the tires of a supposed dead man instead of running the last kilometer to the jail.

I also don't think the last scene was that bad either. They have scouted the area around the prison earlier and also the gun fight a couple of episodes ago. If you didn't notice, this way has also been the only way they have gotten to the prison by foot (except Tyreese group, but we didn't actually see the way they came into the prison right? And Andrea doesn't know about this way anyway and the Governor knows that). So it's pretty easy to assume this trail is the main way to get there and it was easy for the Governor to just take a chance and wait and see if he could manage to get to her. It's still very cliche but defendable.

Though obviously it's a TV show so stupid logic always applies. They're making him out to be superman with how he escapes from a swarm of zombies with no ammo, scratches or bites. Somehow he manages to drag andrea away without causing attention too. PFft.

Rick while he's positive the Gov will kill them anyways, can't help but feel if he can sacrifice one... to save the rest of his group, even if it's a slim chance... might be worth the risk. I really don't see how it would be worth the risk. He said himself there's only an extremely slim chance the governor would not kill them all, and surely not proceeding with that idea would give them all a better chance of surviving.

He has to know that's the best chance he gets and that the "negotiations" would go nowhere. I know it's a risk for the guys outside but still... This last chapter was a big bunch of predictable nothing, so that makes two of them in a row. A shame because the season was looking pretty decent so far.

I said "eww," when I saw that, the girlfriend didn't believe me until I paused to show her it was there. While I agree with the sentiment that the episode was lackluster, I think that it did hammer home the Governor's slide into insanity, especially as he laid out his "work shop" Regarding the comic. + Show Spoiler + I feel the Governor in the show is starting to take on a lot more of the characteristics in general of the novel.

Also I thought that the episode was lacking suspense because of the way the Andrea character is built up. I don't really care about her, whether she escapes or gets killed/captured.

Oh well, it's almost over now! In case you missed it the reason why he started smashing all those windows with the shovel was so she would have to walk on broken glass, making noise. You're not the only one, but people need to remember its just a tv show. Why didn't andrea hit the deck the instant she heard the truck the second time? Because then it'd make for a pretty dull show. How did the governor know she'd approach the prison right there so he could jump out from behind a tree? Because its a tv show. Sure the show has some inconsistencies, almost every show/movie does. These things that yall are complaing about aren't even inconsistencies. Just sit back and enjoy the show, don't try and pick apart every minute detail.
