It would be nice if the tasteless/artosis duo could cast at a non-ungodly time for them. I personally don't care if the live time isn't good for me because it's a replay cast anyways, so watching the vods would be just as good.

edit: I suppose they're just a bit too tired because frankly players at their level should be able to keep track of the minimap.

I think maybe it's because they are super tired because they're casting at some ridiculous hour from Korean. Also I think that Tastetosis might be out of practice. The last cast I saw of them was WCG, and I know DAy[9] was doing all the OSL stuff plus his daily. I realize Tastetosis want to be pro casters and probably be paid for their work, but the lack of work seems to mean they're out of practice. Maybe they should start casting some amateur leagues like the CSL to give them practice and to give more attention to some of the great lower level leagues.

This may also be due to them missing a ton of stuff that was going in the games. I forget which game it was exactly, but they missed a raid that was going on at 12 for a good 2 minutes as a single tank killed every single probe and had the nexus down to 10% hp (i think it was tasteless). Another game the base collecting and supply disparity was glaring (1:3 ratio between the players) and they were still calling it a close game. I was so annoyed at the casts that i started to watch them on mute. (though the saturday previous to this, it definitely wasn't the case)

I would like Chill better except for his voice. Nothing he can really do about that, he's a good caster otherwise, but I just enjoy listening to Day talk more so I voted for him. Tastless and Artosis have not amazed me this TSL. They're still markedly better than the other English commentators I've heard, but Day/Chill have been much more entertaining to listen to thus far.

When Gosi[terran] lost you could feel the raw emotion of his comrade being overcome by inactive protoss imbalance, and he still held it together. Day[9] gives the illusion of having better knowledge because he talks about such abstract things which most ppl with common sense already know (where to take a 3rd doesn't need a 30 min rant). Chill is never really "sure" about what's going on, and Tasteless loves to let us know how to group mutas or let units mine gas quicker every single game. Artosis is the real deal folks. And don't get me wrong the other casters are VERY good, Artosis is just on a whole different level. Basically agree 100%. I never really cared for listening to commentating until I heard superdan and artosis cast foreigners vs progamers. Tasteless is hard to listen to, his voice is strange, and he gets really excited (and then harder to listen to) over what I consider nothing. I like Chill's jokes though. Day is ok, but he gets excited too easily like Tasteless imo.

Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski was a top American Terran player before beginning his casting career by covering mainly non-Korean online tournaments like Ascension. After casting the Razer TSL in 2008, Artosis moved to Korea and now does interviews and coverage for IEG, the media giant that sponsors the eSTRO professional gaming team. Artosis joined Tasteless to cast Blizzcon 2008 and 2009, as well as the WCG Grand Final this year. Artosis is known as \"The Wikipedia of StarCraft\" for his comprehensive knowledge of the game. Nick "Tasteless" Plott is regarded by many as the top English professional StarCraft commentator. Tasteless began his career with WCG USA Finals in 2005, and casted several other live events throughout the United States. In 2008, he became the first English-only caster to move to Korea, covering all seasons of GomTV\'s TG-Intel Classic and the WCG Grand Finals from 2005 to this year. Tasteless also casted many events for Blizzard, including their World Wide Invitational (since 2006) and Blizzcon (since 2007). Tasteless\'s nickname is the \"Storm Observer\" for his energy, humor, and enthusiasm. YOU CANT TOP THAT. GO TASTOSIS^^!!! ![]()
