Artosis - I think he is very good, but I don't like his constant exaggerations. Every 2 minutes he finds something that he has never seen before. In the same context, I feel the casting duo is often exaggerating the advantage a player has. Chill - His knowledge is quite good, he has a clear voice and is more careful in what he says then the other casters, which I like. I feel that he is a perfect wingman so to speak. He is a great addition to Day[9] and was also great with Artosis in TSL1. As a solo-commentator I wouldn't like him that much. I don't like how Day9 calls every strat except the most popular a "weird build". Everything is weird this weird that. Day9/Chill combo bore me as their casting has little strategic insight beyond what's really obvious. Artosis/Tasteless meanwhile are pretty funny and they discuss timings, implications of what the players are doing, what they should be doing, etc. Overall very good. I like Saturdays more than Sundays. | ||

1) He has the best voice 2) He has the best speaking ability 3) He doesn't make strange noises (Day[9] - Tasteless) 4) He doesn't have a subtle superiority complex (Chill) 5) He's better at the other casters at Starcraft and has better knowledge, although he doesn't chime in with it enough. 6) He is legitimately passionate and doesn't have that fakeish "passion" vibe I get from the other casters. When Gosi[terran] lost you could feel the raw emotion of his comrade being overcome by inactive protoss imbalance, and he still held it together. Day[9] gives the illusion of having better knowledge because he talks about such abstract things which most ppl with common sense already know (where to take a 3rd doesn't need a 30 min rant). Chill is never really "sure" about what's going on, and Tasteless loves to let us know how to group mutas or let units mine gas quicker every single game. Artosis is the real deal folks. And don't get me wrong the other casters are VERY good, Artosis is just on a whole different level. | ||

I really enjoy and appreciate all of the commentators; Artosis is a very knowledgeable commentator who relates the Starcraft metagame and how it reflects upon Korean pro Starcraft (because he lives there). I like Chill's sense of humor, he legit makes me lol at times. Day 9 is very knowledgable and I enjoy his sense of humor, but I wish he would amp it up a little more during the PokerStrategy.com TSL so I don't feel like I'm watching a Day 9 daily. | ||
