If they were solo casting then Day[9] and Tasteless would be joint top with Artosis close behind. Never really liked dual commentaries as much for Starcraft.

Did anyone notice on Saturdays TSL casts Tastless and Artosis missed many things taking place on the map, battles, drops, dropships sniped, etc.. On the other hand I thought day[9] and chill did an excellent job keeping up with all the action.

Day! And then Artosis. Their game knowledge seems just a little deeper, but Chill and Tasteless are so good too, this poll can never represent how close the decision actually is.

I think people prefer Day only by the slightest of margins.

I both like Chill and Day[9].
They know a lot a sound good together - form a team.

However Artosis and Tasteless are not very compatible.
Imo Tasteless lacks understanding of some parts of the game and his analysis lately is very poor. I think Artosis could be good but he hasn't got the balls to tell Tasteless he is wrong at some points.
Tasteless used to be very good with Suzy and Superdanielman, his humor used to be unmatched... but now he seems to lack both interest and ideas. They do recycle the same things over and over again. Also make a lot of premature judgements for battles ,who has the advantage and who will clearly win and then just switch them over in a second.

Chill - his knowledge is solid. His talk is clean (read: sexy voice). He presents sc well for newbies.
Day[9] - Enormous knowledge. Him + Chill are the best casters of all time. His humor is also a thing to mention. His screaming too.
Artosis - Also a huge knowledge but im sick of his biased prediction and calling the game over too early.
Tasteless - Once upon a time he was excellent. Now he lost his interest/touch. Not to mention that when he talks it seems to me that he was partying hard the day before.

Overall very good combination. They all make sc much more enjoyable

I really like all of them so far, but if I have to pick I say Tasteless. He has got just an awesome voice. I really like listening to it. I also like Chill, especially the canadian accent. ^^ Whenever I hear his "out" i have to giggle.

I really hope that sooner or later we ll have some english casts of korean games again. Watching the TSL commented is fun, but I would prefer to see the likes of Jaedong and Flash being casted^^

the best caster of all time is klazartsc :D, but i really like chill the most with day9 a close second... Tasteless is ok, and dont really like artosis, not that he is a bad commentator, but i dont like his style overall.

I'm surprised Artosis is in last place, since he is the most enjoyable to listen to imo. I think it goes like this:

1) Artosis
2) Day[9]
3) Chill
4) Tasteless

Edit: I'm not sure how some people think Tasteless' commentary is the best. I would usually mute the GomTV casts with him and SDM and just listen to music instead, because 50% of the time they weren't even talking about the game, and when they did, nearly everything said was plain/obvious, and rarely ever funny.

you guys ripping on tasteless suck. the tastosis casting archon is awesome, because you can tell how close artosis and tasteless are. their humour and back and forth is certainly different than day9/chill, but it's still great.

Day[9] and Chill also seem to catch on their casting mistakes a lot more quickly and frequently than Artosis and Tasteless do. I'll attribute this to the ungodly hour that Artosis and Tasteless are up doing the casts, but hearing them make the same mistake for half a game is kind of annoying.

I don't know what you guys are saying, I love how the casters were paired up. Yes, Artosis and Tasteless may not seem to be as memorable as they used to be, but imo we've just gotten used to having some many commentaries lately that we might think of the luxury of being picky. Truth be told, they're casting at an ungodly hour and they're doing it more than well.

Also, Chill should be fucking raping this poll.

All the tasteless hating about "losing touch" or whatnot, you try casting with a 4am start time after a long day, see how you go. Tasteless really got me into following the professional StarCraft scene for his enjoyable and entertaining casts. Day[9] is a phenomenal caster who deserves respect and praise, his daily show is absolutely awesome. Artosis is a really good commentator for game knowledge and insight, and with the amount of "stuff" he generates for the community through scforall and other means, I feel he is a backbone for the community. And while Chill hasn't had as much "professional" experience as the others, I do like him and his casting, and think he is a worthy addition to the casting team.

Tasteless just gets my vote because he hooked me into Broodwar and made it awesome.
