If you don't play the game, and you feel the need to post a lot in the other forum, it's probably to troll. I think it goes much more heavily sc2 into bw forums, but that's because more sc2 people, and the bw people like their own corner of TL a lot. Maybe this is wrong, but it just seems to me that of the people who bother to go comment on a game they don't play, the majority is just going out of their way to trolololol on the value of the other game. P.S. These are the people who gets banned. :D | ||

Trolls will be trolls, bans will be bestowed and the world will keep turning. In my opinion at least! Oh yeah I always grin when I see this guy get temp'd. It's such a stupid name to use on a forum it makes whatever he did funny. thepantysoaker was just temp banned for 2 days by Empyrean. | ||

dgdsg was just temp banned for 2 days by Nyovne. That account was created on 2011-10-22 07:44:50 and had 91 posts. Reason: As first response to that topic? What the hell? http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=279859 was the thread he posted in. I'm pretty annoyed that this guy was the first one to reply, and I'm glad he got temped-- but 2 days seems so light, when the OP is basically talking about how he doesn't feel like Sc2 is a safe space for LGBT. Even if the ladder can't be made into a safe space, I'm glad that TL can be one. Would it be possible to get that post removed? It just seems so unfitting, and also... I'm sure a lot of people who are looking for a place to discuss these things would be upset by that. Guys like that really piss me off. It just seems so much worse to say it here ;_; | ||

In my opinion, there's no reason for the thread to exist, except maybe in the Blogs section. I second this, to some extent. I don't think we need another thread which essentially amounts to "people on the internet can be homophobic assholes" (if I understood the purpose of the thread) It's been discussed a ton in all communities and sub-communities of online gaming. And yes, the "gay starcraft players" somewhat overlaps. That's just my opinion though, it just comes down to what the mods agree on. | ||
