Not that I dislike Chef (I enjoy his presence here; he's a real character whose personality and position are unique and well-defined)... but knock that shit off. Let the mods deal with SCII vs. BW flamebaiters instead of making a thread with the sole purpose of demonizing everyone who plays a game you despise. | ||

And to be honest I'm pretty sure Chill would classify me as an "anti-sc2 zealot" (I do like other games not often discussed on TL), but I also disagree with the thread he created. Anyway there's way too much tension in bw atm, I think once the new season starts everything will get better. And Blizzcon/HoTS were bound to bring more fuel to those BW/SC2 comparisons. Oh and on a personnal level I think I'm getting less bitter about all those things, I even managed not to answer in a SC2 forum thread which had half-turned to "bw elitists this and that". But some stuff will always get me I guess :/ | ||

Well, I think that Starcraft 2 really made a few patriots out of the BW community on TL, and in their mind it's necessary to defend BW from all critics. But that's not to say they aren't annoying, they are, there are just a lot fewer than the SC2 trolls. | ||

I'm sure some of you saw that thread he made in website feedback a while back, kind of stereotyping most SC2 posters as complete apes who would just shit all over any brood war topic with their doomsaying crap. Oh, and there was some stuff about licking lightbulbs too. The memory is somewhat unclear to me. I like Chef though ^_^ | ||
