Yeah. What he is implying is the ratio of bans per users visiting is decreasing.
example(NOT ACTUAL STATS): 2006 there was 10 bans a day w/ 10 000 views a day. lets say in 2011 there is 100 bans a day but there is 500 000 views per day.

The rate of bans is always going to go down over time. Once you've banned all the current bad posters all you're left with is good posters. When new people join you'll get some new bad and good but the stats will be massively skewed by grouping the new good posters with every other good poster who has survived up to this point whereas the bans of the bad posters do not suffer from the same dilution.

User was banned for registering a new account in violation of his ban. To be clear: the only appropriate way to contest a ban is by PMing the mod who banned you.

The live vs replays debate is like the balance debate or SC1 vs SC2 debate, it's something that is banned from LR threads because it causes pages and pages of bullshit.
Your post was basically flamebait and also came off like a passive-agressive dig at the entire tournament as well.

It has to do with the tone to which you set it in my opinion, from what I can see its basically a one-liner, they come off as very offensive. Let me give you an example

Did you really just ban dodge with a new account to come into a thread where you are not supposed to ask why you were banned to ask why you were banned?
If you ever get to come back after you get the boot, I would read the ten commandments and then the entire banned thread to get some perspective. Maybe you'll do better the next time around if you do some research on what is expected of people.

No, it's basically like the regular message but with more words. The meaning varies depending on the words used. For example in this case it is trying to clarify that the only appropriate way to contest a ban is by PMing the mod who banned you.
