Do you take into account the poster's history or only the post in question? Oh, only report the post in question when it is in clear violation. I'm no staff member, so maybe they can answer this better, but when it comes to a question of interpreting a user's history or posts in general, it's best to leave that to those who have the tool and experience to do it. Dude, I report borderline posts all the time. There's no reason to walk on eggshells with your reporting... if your report isn't proper, the mods will just quickly ignore it and move on.
I don't know... I rather report what is obvious, then dictate what should be reportable and what is not by my own actions. I haven't been here as long as you, so what you may think as borderline may appear to me as something not to touch or consider.

because it makes the trolling idiot say whatever he wants and the the mods will still be looked upon as bad guys.

I'll probably be given root access to TL for this, but a better question would be "Is the reverse also true?"

Topic doesn't seem locked, I think it just lost interest

If you're consistently really bad, we can disable your report privileges. The only example I can really think of now is someone who consistently misses sarcasm/joke posts. It never really happens though.

What would you say is the biggest difference between a high-quality (possibly featured) and a low-quality run-of-the-mill SC2 stream? What is some general advice you would give to a caster or streamer looking to improve the quality of their content?
Thanks. The easiest thing right off the bat is how you handle yourself. That includes viewer involvement, stuff to improve the community like rep packs, explanations, coaching, etc. and simply being a good person. Skill is obviously important, but I try to reward the good guys first. As far as playing goes, the big characteristic I look for is mechanics. If you're a caster, it's a bit more tricky because you can always attach yourself to calender events which puts you above the Featured streams. For casters, it's about good casting, longevity and consistency. If you can do something else to benefit the community too, that's always appreciated too. There's another thing I forgot for potential streamers out there:
Save your recordings.
It's not a requirement or even a bonus for a featured stream, however, it helps immensely when we're looking for new streams to add. It doesn't need to be a complete archive, but we're not on at all hours and we can only do so much stuff at once, so we take note of people and if there's a queue, I try and watch some streams later. If there's no videos saved, can't do that. :/

how comes Insane has no icon? :o

Sometimes I wish there was some kind of... bookmark? Of threads.
You know, I read TL at work, but sometimes people posts videos and I can't watch because of proxies. So I feel like I'll forget about the thread or miss it if I don't post in it to have a link later when I'm at home (using the "my last posts" page). But since I can't post if I actually have nothing to add, I just can't post to save it and then I sometimes miss the footages ={
Any chance of a system like this being implemented? Or some simple suggestion that I can't think of but to everyone else it's pretty obviuos? XD

ESPORTS sees no borders, it is an universal language the very same way math is. It does not matter where it was born in or where it ends up blooming, the important thing is that we all have deep levels of affection towards it and everyone taking part in it.
