Edit for an actual question. How does one gain admittance to the writers forum? I would love to write something for TL but I have no idea a) what to write and b) how to write it. If possible I'd like access to the writers forum so I can better understand how things work in hopes of writting something myself someday.

I wasn't asking to be a writer, I was asking more along the lines of how is the TL writing process conducted. I would like to be a writter at some point but the reason I asked is because I don't really know what is expected of writers or even how writers decide what needs to be written. The reason I asked to see the forum was so I could see how everything was conducted without bothering anyone but I'll figure out exactly what I want to know and PM someone instead.

You write stuff and post it. People read your stuff and get an idea of your skills. Look around and you can see what kind of things are expected of writers, there's tons of content even from links just on the front page. After you've been writing for a while, and if you're exceptional and lucky, TL will ask you to write officially for them.
