Don't post in this thread to say "gay gamers are like everyone else, why do they have a special thread?" It is something that has been posted numerous times, and this isn't the place for that discussion. For regular posters, don't quote the trolls.

I'm a very very open minded straight guy but I think that hitting on someone to make them uncomfortable just isn't a good thing to do. You say that it is empowering to make straight guys feel the way women are made to feel (maybe you mean lesbian women which I will agree with doing if you know the guy has done it) but even though I'm a somewhat forward person and I can be very blunt I have a very very hard time addressing a nice girl whom I can't tell has an attraction for me or not for this very reason. I don't enjoy it when women whom I have told that I don't have an interest in continually hit on me just the same as I wouldn't enjoy a man hitting on me once they knew that I wasn't interested (honestly I've only dealt with the woman doing it). They really equally make me uncomfortable & annoyed. i wont lie though, when i went through it really made me reevaluate how i hit on girls. I was talking about this the other day with a friend and i was like, yeah, that shit is scary, and she was like YEAH THATS HOW WE FEEL.

![]() 1. Are there different degrees to being bisexual? Like you're way more into men than women and vice versa. 2. It seems (to me at least) that gays are more hypersexual than straight people in general and so I'm wondering, do you think gays have less tolerance in choosing their sex partner?

What I'm saying is that I hope you don't take offense because at least I don't mean anything by it. (But I do understand if you do take offense.)

How old are you? I'm turning 20 on Sunday, and I've still never had a boyfriend. I did have one girlfriend though, but I didn't know it was a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship until I broke her heart :[. We're still friends though.

If you'd overhear someone calling their friend a fag, would you consider him a total bigot and a hick? I myself am one of those who basically throw the words around all the time, but I don't have a problem with gay people. I do try to avoid it if I know someone will take offense, unless I'm on a freedom of speech tantrum, but having learned English on the Internet, my language can be really foul. What I'm saying is that I hope you don't take offense because at least I don't mean anything by it. (But I do understand if you do take offense.) Well personally I used to take offense to hearing it being used all the time but I've pretty much come to accept that "gay/fag" is just synonymous with things that people dislike in society. It's kind of depressing, because on some level I think it gives people a subconscious negative impression of homosexuals, but at the same time I know that most of the time it's not really an outright declaration of hating homosexuality. I'm lucky in that I don't really ever get into arguments with anyone, so it's been a very long time since I was called gay or a fag. Most people I see in person (With the exception of my friends/family) don't really know that I'm gay. If someone did insult my sexuality though, I'm not exactly sure what emotional response it would cause.

xD GF's roommate is gay...dude is almost as good as me as pulling information out of people...maybe more so. He has the lisp, tall, has weight....and took on 6 cops. -________-;;;;;;; Annnnnnnd....Hit's on me soooooooo hard when he is drunk that I kinda get scared. Hugged me and pulled me on his lap, sitting....OVERSTEP OF BOUNDARIES... So...What is the best way to deal with this Mora... @____@ While I'm not exactly small and weak, I don't have that kinda "I can fuck six cops up with night sticks" kinda mentality. xD Don't let me get raped. =(

Think of how people develop mannerisms in general, as well as evolve their speech patterns. I know people outside of the United States who seem to speak and behave in a way we as US citizens might label as stereotypical homosexual behavior... but in reality they are just trying to talk and communicate. Again, I think it really has to do with the culuture you live in. I know a few homosexuals who come off as straight as can be, but I have also seen the polar opposite. It's definitly worth exploring how each individuals personal culture has influenced their behavioral development.

What's sexuality got to do with anything anyway? I'm sure it's stupid to group all gays together and say they will automatically get on with each other. I'm sure that everyone's personality is different, gay or not, so why are you specifically looking for gay players? A better thread would be "Looking for SC friends" or something like that.
