Being new to this game is exhausting haha Look on youtube for "John Cleese Explaining Stupid" where he explains the Dunning-Kruger effect – which is very applicable to DOTA 2 matchmaking :D Keep playing and you will learn more and more about the game. And perhaps also learn to ignore flamers, some who are quite likely to be even worse than you, despite having played 10 times the amount of time. | ||

Being new to this game is exhausting haha Shit like this happens too often. The advice I'd give is actually dont play full support, play some semi carry is actually the best you can go for. And when you get more experience just play mid hero and win game, do a lot of ganking etc. The thing is most people can only play certain limited amount of heroes which make them delusional on they are good, ie if they didnt get their best heroes their performance would be shit at that game so you will need to play better to compensate that, that's why as a support you are not really 'helping' in that situation. Warding is fcking pointless if your team didnt know to use that vision. And ya, most (lower tier) players have no clue when is the pushing timing , have advantage->farm more items = allowing the oppo to grow back -> lose game because oppo have more late game heroes (heck, this happens too often in mid/high games). Anyways, typical DotA2 QQ. Pubs are frustrating as hell: Pick Omni since no one else supports (and hell, I've played more carries as of late and we already have a few). Buy chicken at start and then wards + flying asap. Stack the pull spawn every time and let Skeleton King take all the last hits. Pull when the lane gets pushed. Even with his ankh and my heals/repel, he still manages to die several times against Sven/Necro. Our Undying in the hard lane is 0-4 before 10 minute mark. Our mid Pudge manages to land a couple hooks but it always leads to him just dying. Misses any hook that we actually want. Decent BH who nets a few kills but decides to give up when the score is 18-10. They 4-man push two towers while I'm begging people to get down to defend at least the Tier 2 but literally no one comes (over a minute passes of me talking/typing/pinging for help). I go from 0-0-2 to 0-5-2 and get bitched at when we're being fountain dived. Two weeks ago, I had probably the most rage-worthy game where I took Tinker mid. Our randomed Veno decides we need more carries as Alchemist, Mirana, and Sven aren't sufficient and doesn't bother getting courier. I manage to get first blood vs an SF but have to go back to grab my bottle and courier which effectively cancels out the advantage I just had. I request that they at least get wards so I can control the runes and not get ganked. Nope, another thing I need to buy but at that point, I had already lost a few runes (one invis gank that led to my first death). I can't even get Veno to drop a plague ward at the bottom rune spot.I gank but Veno misses a gale which nets no kills, I get counter ganked, top lane loses hard despite dual stuns. Veno saves for a shadow blade which he never completes. Naga + SF wombo combo owns us in a team fight and that was pretty much it. Oh, Veno finally buys some wards right around the time our first set of rax go down. BoT, wand, and bottle at 20:00. Fuuu. I understand that in pubs you literally can't rely on anyone else but sometimes the circumstances get a little ridiculous. | ||

Ok. I keep farming and suddenly AM has 6 kills. At the end of the game i get flamed by the guy who randomed lycan ( who killed rosh 14 mins in the game ) and by a leshrac who lost his lane versus pudge and AA ( he was laning with Lion ). Obviously it was my fault if we lost the game, not the fault of the people who fed other 4 kills to AM and who ignored him all game long. It's ok, random lycan 14 min rosh, gg. Apparently my team was relying on me to carry because TA and Lycan are really bad mid game heroes and morph is a lot better, especially when he lost his lane early and didn't get any help at all. Yeee ! Pro pubs players. edit: OH RIGHT, I forgot. We pretty much lost because Lycan gave away his second rosh ( I guess that buying a smoke is too expensive for random lycanthrope ). But it's ok, morphling really bad. tl;dr : I sucked and lost vs AM, then I got flamed by random Lycan and TA who both couldn't carry in the mid game. AM TOO STRONK 20 mins in !!! | ||

AM TOO STRONK 20 mins in !!! you should never lose a lane vs am as morph, you have range and higher damage with agi morph. late game maybe, comes down to farm. also fighting him when you know he has a dd rune makes zero sense. whenever am wins lane vs other team hard carry it's pretty much gg and that's the reason why it's gg, lycan giving away rosh is of very little importance if am was fat and you were not. | ||

Anyway obviously one person in your team is always going to be the worst performer, that doesn't mean you can always blame the loss on that guy, not exactly related i just wanted to qq about that^^ | ||

Are you seriously flaming me ? I just told you that in a 1v1 situation, theres no way you lose against am. Even with full agi, you'll win. Also that am went for vanguard/manta which means yeah he's gonna be a force to be reckon with in the midgame. And their ds was pretty farmed when you had a 25min linkens. No shit we lost it when you wouldn't even come to fight rosh pit when you were bot. Sometimes you really need to calm the fuck down and recognize your mistakes. | ||

We were ursa, ds, pudge, wisp and vengeful, funnily enough we were ahead in the mid-mid late but then the split push + pushing power of furion lycan and leshrac just killed us very quickly. Was a good, long game but god, I hated the word "tryhard" before this but now I can understand what tryharding is xD | ||
