So you call people "faggot" and wonder why you are muted?
To the whole arguing about a lane, you know it takes 2 (at least) to argue. Just let them have mid if it means so much to them, you will find games will be alot less toxic if you do.
Honestly it seems like you cause alot of stress for your team, so I am not surprised you are getting alot of reports. Looking at your wordcloud, it seems like there is not many words of encouragement there, mostly just alot of flaming.
You seem to think random people just do this to provoke you for no reason whatsoever, but like, come on. You really don't think you are part of the problem here?
Here's my word cloud since it sounds like you looked up the game history for someone else who was talking in those pictures (again, I've been muted this entire time)
Also, I rarely make remarks when people do things that I would think are dumb, I don't pick an extra carry or mid after we already have one even if I had already tried to lay claim. Most of the time even if I had already picked a mid hero and someone else picks one I'll offlane or support with it.
Maybe I am part of the problem, certainly in some way. But to say that I cause these things to happen is just completely unfair and untruthful.
Another point, so let's say I """deserve""" this happening in my games because I'm a terrible human being, is this not just ruining the game for the people who wind up against me when I don't have anchors throwing the game?
What do you think of the following claim: by adding in more variables outside of strictly winning and losing games you're making MMR a representative of things that aren't based upon winning and losing games.
To point 1 : Only if your assessment that your MMR is 500-1000 points deflated is true, AND if you "deserve it" because you're a "terrible human being" but that actually manifests itself in no way whatsoever in the game. If you're wrong in your assessment on MMR and/or you don't have anchors but -are- the anchor then we end up in a realistic scenario where you're a 5.2k player with the mental fortitude of a 2.5k player which ends up wherever you actually are in MMR, just like everyone else.
To point 2 : Matchmaking is a wank anyways, because MMR is an imprecise measurement in the first place. Your solo mid SF MMR isn't your random treant offlane mmr isn't etc etc etc etc etc etc etc. There are so many variables in matchmaking that adding another set isn't actually corrupting the data that much, and if it means the people who are fine calling each other faggots end up playing together, then all the better for those that aren't.
Weaver died a few times top (he picked weaver offlane to solo because Void is not a 'hard' enough carry) and the Void flamed him so he suicided a few times. Then after we proceeded to still stand a chance at winning he built an aghs and would use Time Lapse on Void right after he'd chrono someone (thus sending him back and not letting him kill the person he'd chrono)

#1) I'm not claiming I should be any MMR other than what I am. I just started playing DotA again after not playing for 2 years and my whining here isn't some "I'd be higher MMR if my team didn't suck lol!" My point was just that if someone is effectively forced to lose a certain percentage of their games yet still maintains a certain MMR, are they not effectively higher skilled than that MMR if you account for that? Like if even 1/10 of their games (not even an outlandish amount, and I'm sure everyone even with decent behavior scores experience this) have their games outright ruined to no fault of their own, is that not the equivalent of just earning less MMR per win and still losing the same amount, thus diluting what their rank represents?
#2) You are correct that MMR is already very imprecise, and if you think that behavior score is a net positive for the game then so be it, I can't argue that. I myself see it as a negative however and am on the other side of the fence. But seeing as it's an opinion I can't really argue this other than share my personal experiences and opinions.
Honestly, if my games were consistently that awful I would either make a new account, or just not play dota. It seriously just sounds fucking miserable, and I'm all for cutting shitty people out of my life.
I have about 12 accounts and the games are not the same on them. But this is my main account and I'd rather just stick it out. Part of posting this here is nice to vent, the other part is legitimate annoyance and hoping that someday Valve will make a change to this system.
Also, I've probably painted a pretty bad picture of myself, and I know you probably can't just take my word on this, but I'm not a terrible person

But if same shit happens to everyone? Then every one of us deserves higher rating which again makes whole shit irrelevant because MMR is all about comparing player to other players.
yea but u forgot the fact that if u are bound to lose some games because of throwers and afkers and shit, u are also bound to win some games because of exactly same reasons, and actually, if u are nice person and for some reason u are in 1k behavior score matchmaking, u are going to have only 4 possible shitholes compared to 5 in enemy team.
I don't think that's how behavior scores work. Yes, sometimes someone on the enemy team throws, but more often than not (probably 80-90% of the time) they're on my team. That isn't cognitive bias or me just forgetting when it happens. I used to keep a DotA log and post about every single game I'd play.

One of the people I stack with has immediately and non-ironically told a person on our team to get the fuck back in the kitchen and then abandoned the game... because the person in question was a chick. He then spent like 20 minutes explaining why girls shouldn't play video games while the rest of us laughed at him.
Dota doesn't bring out the best in people, so you've gotta be preeeeettty fucking awful in dota for it to make me believe you're actually a bad person where it matters.

So you think Valve is after you? It's very hard to take you seriously if you paint a picture of Valve conspiring to take your mmr or something.
I have an idea how we can find out. Play support only for your next 50 games (And you know, try to win and play well). Always try and stay positive and encourage your team if needed. I'm quite sure you will see games turning out to be alot different. I do that (or well, I flame sometimes too if there is something exceptionally retarded going on in my games) and I got a 10k behaviour score. Of course there are still people doing dumb shit in my games as well, but it's very very rare someone intentionally feeds.
Like you pretty much have a choice. Keep playing and acting like you have and keep having the games you do. Or change and likely the issues you are experiencing will go away (not 100% but you know, at least there will be less of it).
