I didn't play the game, I think you'll notice that there's two groups of people bashing him here
1) people who played with him and were unaware of his history and are bashing him due to his behavior that game 2) people who knew his history and probably wouldn't play with him/or at least not give him carry and are bashing him for his remarks to the community
If there was a bit of overlap between the groups the entire issue probably wouldn't have happened

They knew enough about him to ban AM and PA. Anybody who claims ignorance in this situation is bullshitting themselves.

The entire game was set up to troll Shikyo is my best guess. I didn't start watching until right after the draft. However, Shikyo's team had a much better draft and took a commanding lead in the early game. They were up five towers very early on in the game. Then his team decided to throw because they're all raging idiots.

nvm im not getting involved in shikyo drama.

I consider banning the only two heroes that Shikyo plays trolling him. You're welcome to disagree if you wish. I suppose I failed to mention that they let their third ban timeout so they specifically just banned the two heroes that Shikyo plays.

You should learn to play more roles in some bot games. I could have played Void though, it was refused. I'm a new player, you know. I of course could have played for months before playing any inhouses, which I'm going to do now. And you really think that flaming is okay if someone can't play a hero? I mean I would understand it and really wouldn't mind if I went like 0-12 but in this: ![[image loading]](http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/8912/tlih001.png) It's a bit too harsh, you don't think so? i was not the flaming captain we did remake AP and i got top slot cuz steam trolled us :D :D ....

the usual, lost a game and the fault cycle must be present besides, if he is new, has to learn someway and imo the best way to learn dota is in a coordenated game like a ih, if you rage like the german kid in youtube, then the problem is not only the target of the rage, but yourself
if you want to play in ih, you have to be more patient, even if there is a known troll/retard in your team. if you don't want to get pissed, go play mm with your friends
and i agree 100% with r.Evo

I was the zeus, yeah it was a fun draft.

The point of an IH is to have fun and play with a nice community. Banning certain heroes to troll someone leads to neither, its just childish and dumb. If you feel playing with someone who can only play 2 heroes is so terrible, let them know and don't join the game, its that simple.

The best way to learn the game is not to say "I will only play hardcarry, so give me a hardcarry. But I only know 2 heroes, so you also have to give me one of them". If he wants to learn and play inhouses, he should at least be more open to his team needs. I doubt the issue would be the same if he was open to learning new things. Even a good player should not expect to always play hardcarry just because he wants to play hardcarry.
And if you know a guy on the other team only knows how to play 2 heroes, banning them is a good strategy. It may be too "tryhard" for a casual inhouse, but some people don't have that notion. Yes, they also probally wanted to be annoying because of how he ussually post, but it's not like they went out of their way to do something harmful. Perhaps it's not the "right" thing to do, but honestly it's expected and you shouldn't play any inhouse if banning 2 heroes is such a big deal.
People took it too far, and I'm sure some people were very happy to antagonize him, but he didn't have the right atitude at all.

I think the inhouses can be great for learning, but only if you ask for stuff and someone in the game happens to be willing to explain it. I picked some nice stuff up in the three games I played, but if I didn't open my mouth I probably wouldn't have learned a thing.
What I'd love to see is captains who explain their thought process when picking heroes. I'm only something like 3 weeks in, but some choices really seemed weird, like they had seen it in a pro game and just picked because it was flavour of the week or something. But I'm probably wrong so I'd love to see explanations. Those would probably clear up a ton for hero roles.

I've learned several new heroes in the ih games, I've sucked horribly those games and people never whined (with one or two exceptions). And this results in me (probably) being better at those particular heroes in the next game. It's amazing what a bit of experience in something can accomplish!

don't forget to ban ds + ursa, top combo ever :D

Just from the screenshot, Shikyo did okay relative to his teammates.

+1. our game with DS + Ursa is scary already. Add up Naga's sleep to set it all up and we're all dead

That ursa ds combo was strong.. My ta hated that

MoR #1 drafter ursa's overpower to remove templar's refraction, such a clever dude :D

It really sucks that this has to be repeated, but if you don't know how you're supposed to draft, just don't draft please. It makes for fucking terrible games when you have a drafter who doesn't know what he's doing. Just say if you're not comfortable/have little experience with drafting, and don't ask if someone else WANTS to draft, say that you CANNOT draft.
I don't like drafting, and I'd like to not do it if I can help it, but it's something that I actually know how to do and how it works, so if no one else on the team feels like they can draft, I'll do it.
