The most common arguments against conceding are that it results in fewer epic comeback games and that it may cause arguments when four people want to concede and gang up on the one that doesn't. I feel that within TLIH we have enough of a tight-knit community for these not to be problems. We can set aside some guidelines to avoid too many early GG's, and simply kick anyone that is too disruptive about calling for team concedes.
Off the top of my head, here's an idea 1) Earliest a team can call a standard GG is at ~25 minutes 2) A game can be called over earlier if the opposing team all agree to it as well (this is to avoid situations where the game is incredibly lopsided to the point where the winning team is also bored)
Thoughts?
Even if it hasn't been official that has pretty much been the standard. With the earlier start times recently I haven't been as involved as I was before but from what I have seen there really haven't been a lot of issues with early gg being called, and if there have there is rarely an argument against it.
It is a good outline. I'm just not sure we need to make it mandatory yet.

I'm not a regular or anything by any means but being the one who started the discussion I agree with both points. Like I said I definitely disagree with disallowing concedes altogether. Between the two extremes I'd rather have it than not have it. But this compromise sounds really good.

Just in case people didn't know, before concede people gg'd during games just like now - honestly, nothing changed, except for people, instead of being unable to make a decision whether they agree with captain's request or not, now not wanting to argue with everyone over pressing cancel. I'd rather have voting for conceding instead of voting against it.

Yeah that I agree. It should be vote for it, not vote against. In fact when I first read the feature in the patch notes I had assumed that to be the case.

Go to the TLIH chat channel to find the list of players. If you can't press watch game then go to the persons dota profile and then try to watch again. It's a dota bug. When their game finishes the lobby will come back up. It's only 10 seconds delay for spectators. Search for "tlih" without quotation in the password and the lobby should appear. Just take a slot (doesn't matter which one we are going to shuffle) and then play. If you end up in the captain's slot (the one highest up on both sides) after the shuffle then make sure you notify the host that you don't want to draft.
Some of the people in the current lobby are Rocketbear, Xiberia, (s)

I find that I can't spectate them unless I'm in the same guild.

I tried the profile with Veles, who was in the TLIH channel, but not in the TLIH guild. He was in the same game as perishes, who was in the TLIH guild and I could spectate perishes.

Sometimes it's wonky. I know that I occasionally have issues when I try to spectate Rocketbear. Try 2~3 times and if it still doesn't work try someone else that you think may be in the lobby. Eventually it does work, but it's weird on occasion (some people I know I can't spectate the game at all through when they're in the inhouses).

Games are way too one dimensionnal. I don't want mmr or stuff like that but i can't really enjoy playing them if we keep counting on the valve shuffle. Might be just me tho.

Honestly the group is getting a bit big. Should be making sure there is a better rotation of players in the games this way people aren't able to play 6-7 in a row while others who want to play keep missing out.
Also I think player drafting might have to make a comeback. Provided that everyone can be cool with it of course, but I think that something that has to be discussed before really being considered.

Player drafting will have to be carefully managed so we don't leave people out. Have people join player slots as normal (so we still have a first come first serve element) and then draft from those.

is volvo shovel that bad or is it because of smurf acc trolling it? anyway player draft could work if the drafter know most of the players.
