7.06 Planning Post Personal Notes Shrines
- Harass the offlane early on and he'll be fucked until 5 minutes
- Reducing the shrine base count was essential, I think everyone agree it was insane the number of shrines there - they should move some back so even at megas, you can regen a bit or something.
- Too bad on mana regen, but understandable.
Neutrals
- Jungling back on the menu boys, also good to see stacking is this no longer checkered thing with rune timers (3-5-7/2-4-6)
Attributes
- The attributes adjustment feels like a power-creep
- More health, more regen, more spell amp and more mana with base mana all means starting items need to be changed and I feel everyone goes up in importance (nukers and laning)
Economy
- This is going way over my head. I'm getting a sense of the goals here but can't grasp its overall effects
General Changes
- The Illusion gold change is another attempt to punish late-game illusion heroes - I don't think it'll be enough though
- Roshan dropping cheese at two is curious
- Powerup Runes at 40 minutes is a nice change, interesting how that'll affect things

- Aether Lens: Way more relevant, way more desirable
- Blade Mail: still not enough
- Daedalus: definitely needs more to be distinguished because of good Bloodthorn is
- Dagon: good value
- Demon Edge: Huge change, makes Daedalus a much cheaper and alternative option
- Desolator: This was inevitable
- Force Staff: this is to put it on par with how universal Force Staff has been bought rather than it used to be mainly for int. heroes - this was long overdue
- Hand of Midas: I knew this. I called it all over Kiev, I said Hand of Midas was too much
- Heart of Tarrasque: let's wipe out the need for recipes imo
- Finally, even more reason to get Halberd. Can't cast it after BKB, but now you can do it before - this was the primary reason nobody went for this shit when you need something to go through BKB
- Helm of the Dominator: yeah situational still, meh.
- Mask of Madness: Wow, skyrocketed to the top once more. It being disassemble-abled is crazy awesome and I'm excited to see it become standard on a lot of heroes
- Solar Crest: Here to stay it seems and now with an even better late-game value
- Necromonicon: nah, needs more still
- Radiance: Needs to be more expensive, it's too easy to get this with all the new gold approaches
- Rod of Atos: it just isn't doing enough to be honest, its effect is sub-par even though the stats are quite awesome. I see it's trying to be the new Force Staff with its universal value for supports or roamers, but I'm not convinced yet
- Sange & Yasha make an even more prominent gain! First Sange changes now this
- IceFrog still trying to make Silver Edge gained later, but without the stats to follow
- Soul Ring: nice, I like this. Dark Seer loves this
- Urn of Shadows: Okay, that's fucking interesting. This is the most interesting thing I've read for item changes

Is it finally time for Diffusal Drow? (E) This patch changes Drow's itemization (blight stone?) but I don't think it changes skill builds.
I'm skeptical that a 15 gold price cut means so many more heroes want Drums. Is there another reason to reconsider it?
Urn changes mean Raindrops are early game rather than situational on Spirit Breaker, building into urn.
Soul Ring changes mean some Soul Ring heroes should start with a Mango. Broodmother, Clinkz, Dark Seer (replacing Obs Ward or Tango), Omniknight etc... Enigma has the budget to start Sage's Mask instead.
Troll - I think Vlad's is the correct lifesteal choice if you're ditching HotD.
Witch Doctor - I find the Voodoo value point critical in lane; skipping it for more Maledict is for roaming builds only.

The .5 sec ministun talent on zeus is really good actually. Definitely prefer it to the arc lightning dmg. Lina +50dmg > 40 movespeed Windrunner defnitely wants the windrun invis and 30% cd reduction Lastly, earthshaker +50dmg and +40 echo dmg is the right build.

TA prolly wants LVL 2 traps around 12-14,u should have Deso + Blink ready around the same time so extra range is not that important anymore, instead trap cooldown and trap count are far better at lvl2 and lvl3 compared to lvl1 trap. I get having trap lvl2 @lvl16 is most used in dotabuff but i think thats most of the time wrong approach.
Mid WR Prolly wants to take powershot first (well honestly u wanna keep the point until u need it) to secure ranged last hit + lvl1 nuke is massive. Windrun is prolly safer option but who ganks mid lvl1 these days? no one.
Enigma, i thought having one point in Midnight Pulse lvl2 or lvl4 was a thing but i guess not. s4 did take midnight pulse lvl8/lvl9 in Kiev so again not 100% sure what u wanna do here.
CK value point in E seems little off, i dont have data but its such a bad skill to have value point in, 12% chance 125% crit is like 3% damage increase (0,12x1,25) + 0,88 = 1,03, which is virtually nothing. One more level in stun or rift is going to net u more damage almost always, and lifesteal is pretty much nothing that early on.
TB might want double regen start, it does slow down PMS so not sure.

velzi is correct about the ck crit point; 440 is pretty much always better. the last point in rift is especially important due to the cd decrease, and i'd argue 340 to 440 should be the standard build
