EPTI've uninstalled diablo 2 to install from battlenet to avoid playing from disc. I play a lot at the moment, and I've experienced old discs shattering in the drive before. I asked blizzard on twitter, and they said I can install from battlenet to avoid playing from disc. But when I do a runtime error occurs.
D2 is not something they generally offer support for anymore. But I've asked on twitter, but I am unsure if they will be able to help. Or will spend time on it.
Can anyone help?

It occurs both with D2 and LoD. And I've tried running as administrator. Every time it's the same thing.
