MSI Z77A G45 Infinite boot loop.

Hello! I'm experiencing what seems to be a common issue with this motherboard where it will power on for about 5 seconds then reboot itself. The bios never flashes on the screen and I have tried my psu on another computer and that isn't the problem.
My specs are-
PC Power&Cooling Silencer Mk2 950w
Intel i5 3570k
MSI Z77A G45
Corsair 1600 4x2gb of ram.

I couldn't find anything in the ways of solutions for this problem, so if anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd first check that all the power cables the motherboard needs are connected. Then probably take out the ram and put it back again, and then the same for the CPU. Have you tried clearing the CMOS?

I've cleared the CMOS and and re-seated everything, same problem persists. Any other ideas? I dread RMAing.

New problem, my computer is about 7 months old. Didnt touch anything just one day it started this boot cycle. I think im just going to have to rma it and just when it gets fixed never turn off my computer. This problem appears frequently in this motherboard it seems.

Any unusual beep codes? On a normal boot on most MSI mobos you get one loud beep and a bunch of lower tone ones that indicate connected USB devices. Anything else indicates some kind of error.

Make sure that you have no USB devices or disk drives connected, and try each memory stick individually. If that doesn't work, it's RMA time.

I have a Gigabyte H77 and have a wierd similar problem, though it's probably not the same problem. I have an i5-3470 and a geforce 650 ti. It has to do with my screen which is a crt 4/3. If I remove the splash screen in the setup, or press the setup button or press the boot choosing menu the computer won't start. But if I switch my screen off, then I can start the computer, or go to the setup and boot to anything and then switch the screen on (even in the setup). Anyways if I let the splash screen on I can boot with my crt (though it not even at the right size sigh...). I tried with a 4/3 lcd and same problem too. If I plug a 16/9 screen it's ok. I haven't flashed the bios because I'm scared of messing with Windows 8 and I'm not supposed to have support with the OEM version.

So yeah it's probably not the same problem at all but I hope it helps anyways.

Now that I think about it before that I recieved a defect motherboard (same model as previous post) that wouldn't start. The fans were starting for 1 or 2 seconds then stopping, then starting again and so on. I brought it to a local computer repair shop to tell me what was wrong adn they told me indeed it was the motherboard, so I had amazon replace the motherboard for me. Now the one I have has the bug I mentionned but I can work around it.

The motherboard doesn't have a led nor a buzz so it's hard to know what's happening but here's a tip : if you only plug the motherboard with no cpu no ram, and power it, the fans are supposed to always be on. If they stop then it's either a problem with the motherboard or a wrong contact with the pc case or a short circuit with something that hits it.
