If i slow myself down and click, no shakes at all so its clearly my hands movements. My razer spectre is set to 2.8k DPI, win7 sensitivity 6/11, SC2 sens 54%. I use a Razer Goliathus Control mousemat, i notice significant reduction in its precision when not paired with this, but i used it on surfaces, not other mousemats. Im thinking you either got it set up wrong, or you have a faulty mouse.

Turns out it was the Wireless Mouse/Keyboard Set i had plugged for "remote control" purposes and forgotten about. Although sometimes, even with the Wireless stuff unplugged, the cursor will jump to the top of the screen for no reason (which is something other users already experienced aswell). Other than that its a great mouse.

Other than that its a great mouse. My first one did the same thing. I had it replaced, the new one was fine. For the OP, it is definately the surface. I too don't like using a hard surface either but that is what it works best on. I use a sweatband to counter the problem of discomfort etc. Untill I find a softer mousepad that is sufficient (Not yet found one)

If it is a result of either of the scenarios above: check your mouse feet, if they all have different ware, the mouse is at a different angle and its just bad. to fix this: call razer, ask for replacement mouse feet, go buy a new mouse @ store and return old one and you will in essence get new mouse for free, or buy "teflon tape" and use that for mouse feet, pro cs 1.6 players used to do that. if your mouse feet are fine, there is something in the lazer. first try blowing on it (being careful to not get any liquid/saliva) in it. if that doesn't work, then get a can of air spray. if that still doesn't work, use a "Q-TIP" or equivalent cosmetic device to wipe down the surface inside it, then throughly blow it out w/ canned air. I have encountered all of the issues above so ya... hope this helps, send me a PM if it does.

I would not suggest a sensitivity other than 6/11, sometimes 5 is ok. But never higher that is for sure. Also can people stop commenting that they don't have it on a mouse that is not the OP's? Even if it is the same sensor.

Whatever, I got a Razer Spectre for christmas and was at first very amazed by all the settings, the glow etc. but I realized after playing OSU! that something is really off. I have jitters from low to high dpi during clicking, even from clicking with the mouse being static fixed it stil jitters a bit. Ive tried it at many dpi settings and with soft, hard mousepads, a book, a paper, my pure desk (wood). It works best on my desk, but stil, I need perfect precision, playing insane maps or clicking on a probe is instinct with the abyssus and I dont think I can reach that level of precision with the spectre which is way more expensive.. Iam very very upset because Ive read alot of positive hardware tests about the spectre before I told my parents that I wish for one. They dont know about the issue, but I stil feel bad because it costs a wtf huge amount of money (for us). Is there stil no fix to it? Is there maybe a way to tell Razer its not working right and get the money back if its not fixable? I really cant just sell it for less on ebay or sth with a good conscience :<
