Razer Blackwidow Macro Key Question

Hey i was wondering if it was possible to bind " ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ " to one of the macro keys on the blackwidow?

that way i dont have to Copy+paste it everytime i want to use it. I cant copy+Paste it onto a macro key cause the macro recording would only register that as Ctrl+V all the time

well if you can find the character codes for the emoticon then you probably can. like alt-123456 etc.

Just go into the Razer BlackWidow icon in the tray, open macros tab, create a macro(be sure to have 0ms delays between each key) with that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, save, go back to assign keys tab, and assign the created macro to the key of your choice. You can find all of the signs in character map tool - Start - all programs - accessories - system tools -> character map.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, most of them dont have assigned keystrokes(alt+number) and razer macro's require you to type in the caracters.

Conclusion: no idea.

EDIT2:

You can do it with http://www.autohotkey.com/, but it won't allow you to use the macro keys.

If you find out what each character is alt123 or w.e you can type it all in add delays so it wont trip up games but it would be a pain.

The smiley thing is a japanese character apprently so it's not an ALT+ 123 kind of thing. Curses! Foiled again!

I assume the macros are saved into text files somewhere. Find out where, create a macro, save it, open the file, put the smiley in, save, ????, profit!

Alright I know this is like super old, but after scouring the internet I eventually figured this out myself decided I'd share. Apologies for the necro.

First follow the guide here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode_input#In_Microsoft_Windows

Then with No Delay on the Razor Macro thing record this Macro:

alt + 00af \ _ ( alt + 30c4 ) _ / alt + 00af

(only actually press the alt key)

Profit. If you want it to work in Chrome you will have to remap alt-f to something else under Tools-MoreTools-Extensions-Keyboard shortcuts.
